It is really annoying to see this huge spam in the Altcoin Bounty section every day. Many questions go under in the flood of these posts. Why don't they use Google forms for that? Please ban: - "Facebook & Twitter report" posts
- "Proof of authentication" posts
- "Reserve for XXX translation" posts
Edit: With "ban" I mean to forbid those restrictions like report or authentication through posting in the bounty thread. It worked good with the "Joined airdrop" ban, maybe it will have success here, too?

The posts are all contained in the bounty thread and not killing anything or other section on the forum, so I doubt this is a feasible request.

That is a pretty harsh response ... he is saying to ban those types of posts so that the bounty Manager can not require that you make them. It does not make him a hypocrite to follow the rules of campaign, but make a suggestion on how the threads can be improved. And he is correct, the bounty threads are being flooded with twitter/Facebook reports, and what looks to be some automated responses from bounty hunter bots, because they don’t stop even after the campaign mananger has announced the campaign is closed 10 times and asked people repeatedly to stop submitting reports.

I don’t mean to be harsh but before posting he must think first if he doesn’t done the same. It’s like he don’t want others do what he does. “hypocrite to follow rules?” the rules is posting them and that’s why they’re posting in the first place and those doesn’t follow must be red tagged(agree?). It just that they’re so many participants that’s why he thought others are just spamming. If that’s the case locking a thread is an option and not banning post that is part of a bounty campaign.

That whole section is a gigantic shitfest, and what OP is referring to sounds reasonable. There's a lot of posts that just shouldn't exist, like "Thanks, joined airdrop" and such. Those are already verboten.
But it's not like the bounty/altcoin sections are a hotbed of stimulating discourse anyway. As long as the shitposts are contained in a small area, it should be fine for the rest of us who never visit there.

I dont know whether those posts (as examples you gave) will be considered as plagiarising or inappropriately paraphrasing. Will those accounts under threats of permanent bans due to plagiarising or inappropriately paraphrasing? Thanks

I have a lot of expirience joining some bounties in the Altcoins Section. Regarding with the social media bounties. The report should be only in one single post for all of the weeks. But some of the participants are not following some rules thats why some bounty threads are bumping everytime. That's only the cause of spam in bounty threads and that is the only thing should be prohibited. Google report forms make it easy for the applicants to submit their reports every week and also for the managers to check it. It could also avoid crowded post of reports in the bounty threads. Its pleasant to see threads that are all arranged.

But again it create more value in bitcointalk since everyone know know that it is important forum for their ICO to get community participation.

Yes, I had to do it. But it doesn't mean that I like this kind of restriction, which occurs more and more. I just followed the rules and came to the conclusion that this kind of verification is bs. This (+the other points) is the reason why I started this thread.

I think Campaign managers need the facebook and twitter report post to keep track of activities of participants of bounties they are managing in other to award stacks accordingly.

Totally agree, there are Google forms that can make the work of managers even easier, for example all the links in reports can be automatically sent to one spreadsheet. And there are also bounties with a personal cabinet - what a nice idea! - though some of them want us to send reports either.
It is so difficult to communicate with the manager in the bounty thread as it's always chockfull of these reports...

You mean like this one Link? I don't mind the occasional bounty-post, but I don't like seeing many accounts with nothing else than facebook links in their post history. They most likely use many alt accounts to do the same, it doesn't add anything to the forum, and the spam on Facebook tricks people to spend money on scam-ICOs. This damages crypto in general, and Bitcoin in particular, as it loses market share. Ethereum benefits from this, as most scam-tokens run on that chain nowadays. Theymos stopped allowing ICOs to advertise on the forum, because it's impossible to check which are legit. The forum doesn't benefit from it anymore, but the damage continues. When I was still running (Bitcoin) giveaways, I rejected all accounts that were only used for giveaways. I wanted real people to join, with only one account per person. (Most) ICOs don't seem to care. The more spam they create, the more they earn. They don't care about Bitcoin, they don't care about this forum, and they only use it for quick profit.

I really would like an honest answer from campaign managers. Do any of them check the correctness of posted links? Especially where it is 2k participants. You mean like this one Link? The whole mess comes from campaign managers. (Of course, there are exceptions, few managers have very neat and clean bounty threads). They don't care about forum spamming. They support bots and account farming. Link posting rule is most often due boosting thread, what is against the rules of the forum.

I fully agree with the OP. Bounty threads should be used for the bounty hunters to discuss issues relative to bounties and to interact with the managers in a discussion. Spamming the bounty threads with links to tweets makes the threads totally unusable for anyone willing to discuss anything about bounties, since those good posts get lost in the horrible ocean of links to tweets. Some bounty managers (like Sylon) have an automatic way to count tweets, but the others should really use google forms and keep their threads clean from that garbage. Moreover, EVEN WHEN bounty managers are requiring people to submit the links via google form, too many bounty hunters keep spamming the threads with their annoying and useless tweets. As someone has observed, this often goes on even after the end of a campaign, which probably means that bots are there at work. Now, IMHO this form of shitposting is much worse and annoying than any other one, and unlike other forms of shitposting, which can be judged to be shitposting or not according to the subjective opinion of the reviewer, THIS form of shitposting is OBJECTIVELY shitposting, because it is totally useless given that there are better alternatives, because it is totally meaningless (lists of tweets have no meaning for anyone) and totally identificable with zero possibility of misinterpretation. My only doubt would be about the Proof of Authentication - but in fact this function could be obtained also with a PM to the manager.

OP is partly right. Just take look on this bounties from another side: the campaigns that offer a larger amount of payment (no matter what garbage the coin is) usually get more applicants which is always bumping them and keeping the 1st page of the section spammed. It becomes harder for good projects with a lower amount of bounties to dig through this shit and get the attention of bounty hunters. It should also become easier to analyze the threads and find decent campaigns.

Not following the rules is one of the bane of the community and causes friction between the participants and the manager what that place needs is firm managers. Once in a while that I visited there, I just see people quoting the whole posts all over again just because they wanted to report their post for the week and I wonder why can they just edit the initial post to include the current week just like the campaigns managed by managers in the bitcoin section but sometimes, its always included in the rules by the managers for their own selfish reasons. The Google forms has helped, but it can only get better by people just following the rules.
