According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

How is such a thing possible?

Also, does legit = legal?  Or legit = it works?

If it does not come with a printed certificate from Microsoft that you send in the mail it is not legit. 

Otherwise those keys that are just a code transferred from one person to the other tend to stop working after 1-3 months or if the seller keeps selling the same code. 
Seller since 2011 hundreds of orders shipped
