indeed. instead sell bitcoin, why not keep holding until the last year highest price reached ?
bitcoin is a long period investment. you wont get anything if you hold it for short time.
Yeah absolutely it is beneficial if we hold  for while, but we cannot dictate those individuals who will immediately sell their holdings maybe there's an immediate need but for business wise you should hold until such time the price will  a little bit  favorable on your investment.

Montana to be a Bitcoin Mining Hub

Check it out!

“This is obviously going to be revolutionary.”

This would be the second large mining operation to find Montana in as many years. Back in 2016, Project Spokane, LLC launched its site near Missoula. It’s already one of the largest energy consumers in the region, housing a 20 megawatt facility, employing at least 25 locals.
yeah i think so. because bitcoin is still far udervalue from its real price i think Smiley if they sold bitcoin at february 2018, most of them was at loss and want to cut the losses.
but if they hold their coins more than 1 year, they didn't get loss. they only gain lesser money if they sold it.

Why does increasing mining competition mean that people who have taken the profit on their Bitcoin purchases will be making a loss?

Yes, I think the same, well you cannot expect everybody to hold their Bitcoins if they really need to do some spending. my own opinion regarding being involve here is more on financing my family and myself and later on I was aiming for having the things that I want to achieve, whether its going to dump or pump in the end of the day there will be a reason why you have to spend some of it,better not to stop workibg so you can have back your expenses.

yes because bitcoin price now is so high those who sold their bitcoin in lower price should be a big loss because they lost a big amount of price that bitcoin has.

It is a well established fact that bitcoin is a long term investment however sellers of btc does that for a purpose while some might used their fiat to pay off or meet up with some financial obligations and others like traders buys at dip and sell at a higher price does this all over again, there isn't any big deal in selling bitcoin if done for genuine purposes.

Pretty sure those who sold their bitcoins have valid reasons. No need to hold if you’ve already earned enough and had to reinvest in something important like that new house.

I really don't think so,some investors got bitcoin at low price  and hold for a long time, they have no regrets for selling there bitcoin and they are not at lost even at this present price.

Those who holds bitcoin has to sell his bitcoin at some point to enjoy the profits from price rise.Instead just holding bitcoins forever for the reason that its price would rise does not make any sense and after selling,if he rebuy bitcoin at a lower price, then that would not  be termed as a loss.

I go time to the fact that bitcoin will go to the top!

If those who sold had valid reasons (like paying for life expenses) and don't have any additional source of income then their decision to sell is justified. However, if they sold because they thought btc will drop, they will regret for the rest of their life.

Its not gonna be a big loss if they bought it cheap and sell it high. You might mean they're profits are cut short. But of course those weak hands who sold when the bitcoin was low due to panic were at a big loss. Because in crypto we need to be patient and wait for the right time to sell.

there is no loss in buying, selling, and bitcoin investing in any form, it's just that we do not have much experience and knowledge in managing finances.

Well, it's obvious. lack of patience. fear and not believing in bitcoin made some people sell, because of the bears. but now that the bulls are here, i'm sure most people would regret selling

People who sell their investment early often suffer loss, not because they sell but they sell at a wrong time considering their entry level. I have seen many investors relying on the market sentiments instead of having faith in their research. Bitcoin is a volatile market and hence one should do his own research before taking any investment decision instead of blindly relying on other's opinion.

If they had sold their bitcoin for cash, then I don't think that they actually suffered from loss because they still benefited from the money. Maybe you meant they are in a big loss of profit since the price of bitcoin is increasing again. In trading, loss only happens when you sell your coins in a lower price compared to the price when you bought them. That is why they always aim to sell it higher.

No. I don't think so. It all depends on at which price one sold his or her bitcoins. If they sold it at a huge price, they are making profit already.

A new bitcoin mining facility in Montana is a good news and though we do not know if it affects the price of bitcoin but it will help the community in confirming transactions on the mempool to avoid delays. Also with regards to the topic there are two kinds of people who sold their bitcoin one are those who sold their bitcoins when it is at its peak at 20k$ and those who sold it during the dip. We can say that the other one gain huge profit while the other one have lose a big amount of dollars. So to say that people who sell bitcoin are at loss is conditional and it depends on the situation.

Definitely, they are. Most of them are panic sellers that are scared to take the risk and lose money. By looking and observing the trend of bitcoin in the market now, and if they are only patient, they might earn much larger than the current value when they sold it.

May be monetary loss would have been there but the anxiety, stress associated with turbulence was definitely taken care of, health is equally important so I feel
