Hey guys, just wondering, what are your thoughts on EOS, good coin to hold long term?

Video of the founder, Brock Pierce, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m6ExinEBxCo

Thanks everyone,

Even though EOS is yet to prove itself, I think it's a risk worth taking.

The extended ICO of EOS token is seen as greedy move and some even call it a scam. I feel the ICO is a masterstroke.

What the long ICO has done is that it has ensured the tokens are widely distributed. That will prove to be big advantage as EOS works on delegate PoS principle and concentrated holding would have made it meaningless.

Also the EOS team now has enough funds to support the project for a few years.

Only risk is that the EOS team abandons or neglects the project once the money is collected.

I don't think Larimer will do that. The stakes are very high this time and any hint that the project is losing momentum will cause irreparable damage to Larimer's reputation.

Some people still call EOS the new Ethereum. They do support it and believe into the altcoin and the platform. I do not think that it reminds scam or something like a bubble. Watch this cool video that tells about the alt price in 2018:

In my personal opinions yes EOS is good coin to be held for long term the reason for that is due to the developer of team is dan larimer, as we know he has much experience in digital coins, he is founder of steemit and bitshare so he has knew about the weakness of digital coins and EOS will fix the scaling problem on the blockchain, it is good potential in the future but it is just my personal opinions and no investment advice.

I dont think larimer's will abandon his EOS project. We all know that the ICO move is so long but the founder did that just to challenge the ethereum of vitalik buterin.

Seems, EOS will be a next big project from Daniel Larimer. All his previously projects was successful. After the ICO will ends in summer, price might be huge.

EOS meetups can be an invigorating experience; last week's event in New York City was especially informative with Thomas Cox, VP of Product at block.one answering questions for 45 minutes - https://steemit.com/eos-meetup/@eosnewyork/eos-new-york-meetup-february-8th-2018-recap

As an optimized version of Ethernet, EOS has received a lot of attention since its appearance!

The potential quality currency can be long held.

EOS has many of the characteristics of a revolutionary coin.

Great project.
