The hash of the file at http://download.electrum.org/electrum-1.8.1-portable.exe doesn't seem to match the one on the download page. Download page's MD5: d41d8cd98f00b204e9800998ecf8427e downloaded file's MD5: 350062EE59F982372A561080DFE843BB.

It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.

No, the hash posted on the download page doesn't match the download's hash. One of them must be wrong.

No worries, the signature of the file is correct:

gpg --verify electrum-1.8.1-portable.exe.asc electrum-1.8.1-portable.exe

Animazing updated the binary shortly after the release, and I forgot to update the page. it's done now.
