In order to create a solid curecoin, I would like to increase the size and skill range of the team. We have a few decent programmers working their butts off, however my drive to make this coin solid is leaving us with endless ideas for improvements. Please post your area of expertise and previous bitcoin community reputation if you want. If you just want to be a supporter   / promoter please make a post too. I plan on making a list of contributors. As you may recall the curecoin dev budget allows for compensation even to forum promoters.

here is the rough draft from before... was looking for suggestions...
curecoin dev budget rough draft v1.1
10% advertising
10% forum promotions - including universisty forums.
10% For stanford university to improve folding network.
10% Dev future updates on coin source and folding integration system
30% nvidia hardware giveaways
10% website / hosting DDos protection for backbone nodes.
10% promoting services to accept / trade curecoins
10% Huh? need more ideas <<<<< more nvidia giveaways??

Im thinking if i can build a big enough team of devs and promoters i should use the remaining 10% for devs / promoters .

As far as the alpha pool run time and cure launch time, the fundraiser created enough funds for me to launch a larger scale alpha... which i think is a good idea. This larger scale beta will have better DDOS protection and we will try to refine the current code a bit more ofcourse. This will be a good show of what the system will be capable of. The current system is hosted on basic services with basic protection. I think if i can show the crypto community the potential of the system we will be able to drive the fundraiser more to create a full scale very solid curecoin, one not easily attacked.

With updates constantly coming out for cryptocoin security , such as the new updates from Gavin Andresen to the Bitcoin client, security is a huge concern for me. With more devs on the team to help secure the coin we can make a great coin to be traded, and hopefully create better medicines and medical tech in the process by supporting the folding@home project.

oh... one last item, one of my more knowledgeable advisers laughed when he read the 10 % of budget to go to stanford to improve their folding system, while making the comment " stanford has more money that they know what to do with ". Taking this into consideration I dug into more research about Stanford. It would seem that Stanford is a very powerful entity... i found some pretty shocking articles... Many people have proposed that curecoin will cause a massive DDOS to stanford to shut the system down. From my research i gather that stanford *might* have the highest lvl of internet tech next only to google. There is  plenty of reading to do about stanford, and their knowledge of ddos, crypto security, etc.... just google it. I always though maybe Berkly or Cambridge would have had the best internet tech.... but some searching leads me to believe otherwise. Unfortunately the exact specs of stanford servers are capable of are not easy to find, but google also does not release that kind of info. last food for thought...

odd that google gives its secrets to stanford...

http://www-cs-faculty.stanford.edu/~eroberts/courses/soco/projects/2001-02/distributed-computing/html/concerns.html

heres another link we looked at, is very interesting, especially the last paragraph. Seems stanford has been learning dealing with ddos ever since they started the folding system 13 years ago.

I have the alpha folding pool ready to upload to a new vps... however like mentioned we can do a few more tweaks first. We should be able to make a powerfully secure alpha pool for a month or two with funds available, however we will have to get more glc for the alpha pool. ( i can help a bit with that from my glc pool)

as my programming knowledge is ilimited (though i'm learning every day in my java developer course), i wouldn't mind being a supporter, or forum poster for this coin.

I'm a fan of the nvidia hardware giveaways, i think nvidia cards are definitely overlooked in the coin mining scene.

Does the advertising plan also include something physical related to Curecoin? business cards, flyers, actual coins....?
