The charitable organization UNICEF announced a project called "Game Chaingers", which aims to raise funds to help children from Syria through cryptomining. The UNICEF Foundation provides everyone with the opportunity to participate in the project to install a client-program for mining on its device, which will use Ethereum mine to exploit the power of the video card.
There was already a charity project of AID coin, I bought these tokens recently on the stock exchange. I think all that is connected with goodwill deserves attention.

UPDATE:
Some people think that this is a scam. And UNICEF has nothing to do with this. What do you think?

Oh, thanks for the information. It is very important. Apply a blockchain to help children is just fantastic. I think many would like to take part, but not many know about it. You do not even need to invest your money, but simply install the application.

Post links please! I had to Google this Tongue

https://www.engadget.com/2018/02/02/unicef-game-chaingers-mining-for-charity/

Looks promising, so is it in-browser mining or are they supplying their own software? This is a really interesting and promising development!

UNICEF is leading the pack with this one..

Gotta commend this charitable organization for taking such a progressive stance, and can only hope more charitable organizations follow suit!

This is not  a project by UNICEF, instead some people are using UNICEF's name to mine cryptos. Here are some proofs to it:
1) Visit the Unicef France official twitter account (verified): https://www.youtube.com/user/unicefenfrancais
2) Visit the site linked there.
3) Go to the bottom of page and click the youtube icon.
4) You will get this youtube page: https://www.youtube.com/user/unicefenfrancais
5) The Youtube page given on these news sites is a fake one, even though it has more subscribers: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgC7E2YoTgUytC5IdFScqfQ
6) Also the site where you can mine cryptos for UNICEF is not a sub-part of UNICEF website, but entirely different site. https://www.chaingers.io/en/index.html
7) Clicking the Unicef logo on this site does not take you to UNICEF's site.

So I guess it would be unwise to support such scam projects. It is not from UNICEF. Scam attempts like this is what gives crypto-currencies a bad name.

I read this news in forklog. Do you think that such a resource will disseminate unverified information? I'm confused, to be honest. I do not speak French and do not understand what is there for references to YouTube. But I thought such sources can be trusted.
