Let ICO holders automatically send coins to your Ethereum wallet just after receiving your Ethereum

Just like, betrium.co is doing.

KYC is really useless for crypto currency traders.
KYC is currently useful to prevent money laundering for criminals. KYC will be very useful because it can detect who the potential investors who follow ICO and enter capital in ICO. so if you say KYC is useless if you do not think until that.

I agree that the use of KYC can reduce scam ico, and many see many current projects being developed to protect potential customers or keep their identities in order to not be misused and protect their assets. this is great and hopefully more and more newcomers in cryptocurrency

You automatically receive the token once you send ethereum to their contract address, kyc is done before you send the ethereum, not after that so it's not matter. The harder is when they don't use contract like ico that use bitcoin or several currencies. ICO participants should do research first to stop getting scammed.

LOL, how does that even stop ICO scams. This is what most ICOs are already doing. In fact KYC does add extra layer of trust if it is being done in partnership with trusted 3rd party KYC companies. The only way to stop ICO scam is by not supporting projects which only have money in mind. Support projects for their concept. Someone posted this accurate guide to reduce your risks of participating in scam ICOs. You should read it OP. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2822896.msg28918101#msg28918101

KYC has still some use for most of the campaign and  ICO founders, they will be protected from these abusive ICO participants who is doubling their  registration it will prevent unfairly distribution of stakes from the investors, fraudulent activities will be lessen but the downside with this would be your identity can be sold to others, and can be used to identity thefts, the best thing to do is do not participate any of these ICOs if you are concerned about your privacy.

Yes our privacy is the very most important matter here in crypto. They might use our personalities for the intentions of scams KYC is not a good option. It was never been new to us that kind of extortion for people. We should think twice in our decisions everything is not possible in the cyber world.

If you want to join the ICO you want and dont know If its a good ICO and prevent to join a scam ICO try to see this checklist I made for my self:
    Good ICO
    • Whitepaper is well presented and all of the things are well explained and how the product works
    • The team involved has a good profile background and has many experience in cryptocurency market
    • See how the progress of the ICO goes if its good
    • Having a good community and admin to answer all of the peoples doubt about the project
    • Hard cap and Soft cap is not too hard to achieve
    • Well presented Announcement thread here in forum and a good Website
    • A Good Road map to see if the project can run a long term and to see if they are only motivated for the profit

So far that's my checklist if the ICO is good and if it the ICO doesn't have  these quality I consider it as a scam and probably it will .

Thorough investigation is the key. I think you have to know first the team behind the ICO. Check their profile at LinkedIn if there are any and then their whitepaper because it is written there what their project all about including their mission and vision.

But that doesn't stop the ICO scam, they just need to make a smart contract, and then you can solve the problem,
But the token might not be worth it,isn't it?

just because they send coins to you after they receive your investment doesn't mean they are not scam. many scam ICOs send their coins after you invest making you not worry that they are not scam but in the end their coins does not have value. scammer today are knowledgeable and educated and they do everything just to scam others. the best way to avoid ICO scam is to research every detail you can gather and ask others about their opinion and research too.

Even if they do that, if they are scammers, they could just run away with your money without continuing the project. Then all you have is a bunch of worthless tokens.

You cannot stop scammers from starting ICOs but you can stop being a victim of them by wising up. Know how to detect scams and research the product and the devs involved in the project before sending them your money. If every one gets wise enough to avoid shady ICOs, eventually those scammers will stop creating ICO because there are no one left they can victimize.

I don't even get your OP. Did you maybe want to elaborate if you think this is a genuine good idea? So I purchase ETH, am I supposed to send it directly to an ICO you say? From an exchange? That's the opposite of what you should do. How does what you're saying here help to not get scammed by a sketchy ICO?
I meant, you send ETH from MeW/MetaMask wallet and ICO holders send coin back immediately. Check betrium.co for getting a better understanding of the concept.

now I am based on the professionalism of a project, including the look of the website, the validity of the documents, the validity of the team profile, the interest of the crypto community, the developers in the telegram and the logic of the total coin supply as well as the scope for the business model.

There are no particular way to stop scam ICO, but the only thing that can protect from being scammed is your research about the project. So before entering into any ICO's, it is important to go through its white paper in detail and understand the project and the review of the project in Bitcointalk forum also matters.

There is no easy way to stop an ico scam. But the best way to minimize such risk is through research. Also, you have to bear in mind that we have to do our own due diligence in investing our money, and investing our money is not always a sure fire way that we will profit from it. There is an inherent risk that we might be scammed or it is not just profitable enough.

In its virtual nature, the ICO market knows no boundaries, but also strict legal norms too. This makes it a fertile ground for fraud, theft and failure.
Everyone who is interested in this or that project can order a professional check from well-known specialists.

    Due Diligence
    Comprehensive verification of the project.

Successfully conducted ICO does not guarantee the successful implementation of the project. In its short life, the crypto currency market has already faced scams and the inability of the project team to implement the project that received funding.

Due Diligence forms an objective opinion on the investment potential of the project. On its basis, the investor can take a more informed decision, and the project team eliminate the project's shortcomings before the ICO.

When financing the project by private and institutional investors at the pre-ICO stage, the question of the cost of the start-up before and after the investment, and the fair distribution of shares in the future project between its initiator and the investor may arise. Both parties can make informed decisions based on an independent external evaluation of the startup.

Kreston GCG has a large appraisal department specializing in the evaluation of technological start-ups. Our team possesses the knowledge of the field of cryptoeconomics and applies the international standards of valuation (IVS, EVS, RICS) in accordance with the best world appraisal practice.

The only important things there will be a relationship between the developer's history with all of their social media account just like linked. But about the vadility of document seems a bit different with it because it can be manipulated. The team must try to prove if their are all humans with real identity through use streaming feature imo.

As if you can control the people behind of the ICO to scam others or be honest. There are no easy way to stop ICO scam, only by research thoroughly you will lessen the chance of investing to a scam ICO.
I've read a nice guideline on how to avoid being scam by ICO check this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2822896.0

To know how to identify the usual characteristics of an ICO scam and spread the knowledge about it. Stopping people who wants to take advantage and do illegal activities would be next to impossible and the best way to fight them is to reduce their possible victims.

Its very hard to identify whether the ICO is scam or real. But if we followed below research we can avoid scam ICO.

    1. Check each team member linkedin account whether they promoting their projects or not.

    2. Check telegram accounts too. If they dont have real team, just assume that as scam

    3. Do not believe high discount project ICO

    4. Do your own research and learn new things. Do not trust others

The easiest way to stop ICO scam is to have ICO regulators in the crypto space that approve your project to commence an ICO base on terms and regulation.
