Let ICO holders automatically send coins to your Ethereum wallet just after receiving your Ethereum

Just like, betrium.co is doing.

KYC is really useless for crypto currency traders.

If you get tokens straight after the purchase it doesn't mean that founders of scam ICO project can't just go away with your money. The best way to stop scam ICOs is to make a dip research about a project before the investment and don't listen to others.

Some ICOs are obviously scams, but some of them may be unsuccessful. We should see the difference between such projects. Anyway,  try to have as much feedback as possible about any startup you are going to invest in.

Agreed - proper due diligence is still required. However - when launching our own ICO with smart contract distributing tokens automatically based on amount of ETH received, i was surprised to see how many investors never had this kind of experience. A lot of ICO's still send tokens through their own system or distribute tokens after the crowdfunding stage. Which is strange - as automatic token transfer has been made possible in token smart contract....

Anyway - a red flag for me is a major token giveaway and insane bonus system. Token distribution is usually when average contributors get ripped off

I love that concept. If every ICO would immediately give the tokens,  it would prevent hack fraud stories,  ico target didn't reach scenario.

There are no particular way to stop scam ICO, but the only thing that can protect from being scammed is your research about the project. So before entering into any ICO's, it is important to go through its white paper in detail and understand the project and the review of the project in Bitcointalk forum also matters.
It is sad to know that ICO is being abused because of its disadvantages like it is not regulated or registered. This means users will not be reimbursed if something were to go wrong. So, to at least to minimize the chance of getting scammed we should thoroughly give ourselves a time to take a deep research.

I think we cannot stop ICO from doing scam. People just need to be vigilance. Do a research and ask for advice to others before jumping into ICOs.
the fact is we can prevent of being scam always if we know how to search for the sake of our money. Which is the good one to invest and indeed that is easy way how to prevent those scam schemes . And also i suggest to don't jump quick if you don't have enough information about it , so make a research and don't rely on others thought to ensure that you're money is safe.

ICO scams wont stop not unless there will be some regulatory board to regulate ICOs which is impossible because cryptcurrencies are decentralized assets, the only thing you can do is to do your own research in each and every ICO you wanted to join for you to be sure that you wont be scammed.Do not let other people give you ICO suggestions, know them by yourself and you will never be scammed.

I agree with you on that,  I think they also have to implement a strict requirements before developing a new ICO.  But whats best right now is studying the project first before getting into it.

There is lots of people doing scamming professionally neither KYC or sending directly to ethereum address doesn’t dolve proble but there is lots of ico managing platforms like kickico or comsa still some new projects providing solution for crowdfunding supporting these platforms will reduce Ico scams .

As in any industry and in any business there will always be scammers. It is necessary to carefully study the technical documentation of ICO and select a verified team

some experts have new idea only vrified team is not best way to identify realable ICOs. I think all parameter must consider in one package to determine scam ICOs from other. so ERC20 is one important parameter inside other main parameters

A good idea. Surely there will be many more ideas. And surely new ideas will be born by hackers in order to gain access to our means. And for sure there will be scammers on the ICO. This can be avoided by taking a closer look at the safety and study of projects

There are no easy ways to define a project as a scam. Scammers come up with more and more sophisticated ways, misleading us. Only your long and hard analysis will help you avoid a scam project. And it's very good when there are friends who help you with this. There are times when you make mistakes yourself

Of course, analysis of ICO projects must always be carried out, without this, one should not even think about investing. And even this does not completely protect you from scam, but so you will do everything in your power.

It's funny to see how easily people fall in ICO scam.
When people se a nice designed project they can not say NO...
People buy the design and not the project...so it is.

Yes, people are attracted by a beautiful wrapper, so they are subject to scam. Most people do not want to understand all the intricacies concerning the project, they want a quick profit.  Smiley

Scammers don't stop to scam people as long they never got what they want. We need to do is avoid them research the ICO  background off this a legit or not. But sometimes is hard to know if the ICO is legit or not because some of them is really good to incomes to deceive the people.

That's right! scammers will never stop and continue to scam people, it is happen every-time and we can't notice them in the first place, they just run with no trace. Even for a KYC scammer just used other identity for it.

Sometimes it is really hard to determine whether the ICO is a scam or not. Everything can be faked in the internet. If you think the ICO is a scam, then might want to report to any admins or request a validation. You can consult to experts as well just to be safe since accusing is bad.

in my opinion, the easy way to prevent scam ico is by the verification process of kyc provided by third marriage, such as kyc legal, icopass, or other, and create a special board other than sec specifically for cryptocurrency
