The most common failures are startups, associated with the development of block-based platforms and operating systems based on the blockbuster. To adequately assess the prospects of such projects can only be a few, so choose the one that really shoots, the newcomer will be difficult. In addition, competition in these areas is so high that many developers simply do not have the competence and resources to break into the market. Therefore, it is better for ordinary investors to immediately cut off such projects.

Report them to the authorities, use social media to post warnings about the ICO and don't forget to provide concrete evidences to support your claims or create a website for posting the list of ICO's that are considered scams.

Won't work, scams are always vanish right after they been detected at scamming. Vanishing with all of your money by the way

The best advice is to do your own research. Scammers will never quit. The best advice is to call out the scams as soon as possible to limit the number of suckers they can hook.

Look into airdrop for Marinecoin. You get 20000 coins for every proof of promotion. you cant lose anything. Marinecoin this is a crypto currency. This is really a time tested, dev-less block chain technology community member. Easy to use block chain code. Community backed. By ensuring the widest fair distribution of the coin increases the likelihood of a broader base of adoption of this crypto currency. It has fast block chain transactions and is dev-less. https://marineco.in to register + https://marineco.in/ico for ICO.

I think we need better smart-contract protocols on blockchain platforms which host ICOs to better protect investors from total loss of funds. Like releasing of investors funds in phases: Q1, Q2, Q3 & Q4

Let ICO holders automatically send coins to your Ethereum wallet just after receiving your Ethereum

Just like, betrium.co is doing.

KYC is really useless for crypto currency traders.

Sometimes it is not about the ICO projects who are demanding the KYC's from us but its about the regional rules and regulations who are making this happen. I mean they are the one who trying to get the strict rules amended for such crypto projects. As result of this ICO has to present the KYC and show that they are doing everything in legal way.

Apart from this they are trying to get devoid of the scams also which are being done because of multi-accounts everywhere. This leads to bad reputation and false investment. Thus having KYC limits the user load and make it legit one too.

This won't prevent a scam from happening.  Yes, you may receive the tokens you purchased but if the team abandoned the project and runs away with your money, these tokens you have received are worthless.

I believed that the best way is to screen out scam ICO by have it regulated by the government in this way the government well required the ICO owners to submit necessary documents for them to have permit to do business and also know your costumer which is commonly called as KYC is must be always in effect.
Honestly, I agree your idea. I mean, we need a board to eliminate scammers. But, most people in crypto world will disagree with this idea. Because it would be as a centralized system. And government will put some taxes for every ICO. And it's not working, I think.

KYC is really useless for crypto currency traders.

Well, this is so true for me. It was a big dilemma for us. Crypto world should bring the anonymity in the first place.
But more scammers coming in every day, so many ICO or exchanges want to prevent that by using KYC.

You can't stop scam ICO because there are too much ICO project, how do you know which one I real or not, even if kyc required also become scam project, so we only can try our best to lower investment risk and do a lot of research about the project before doing investment

Amm, just switch on your mind and not to invest in scam ICOs is the best way:)It`s not so difficult to check out which project is scam, especially now, when popularity of ICO slows down.
ICO holders can send coins to you, they even can make smart contracts, own blockchain, nice pr-campaign, etc, but whatever easily steal our money and after sending useless tokens go away

Forget the moon this one is heading to Mars, at least that is one of the long term goals for the blockchain.  Check out Marinecoin, MTC.  They are distributing 9 billion MTC using time dilution technology to fairly reward anyone willing to promote the new ico.  The project is eco friendly requiring minimal power to run the whole network.  No miners needed either so they are awarding most of the coins to promotion efforts.  Great time to scoop a bunch up for a bit of effort.  self sustaining - iot - community - zero fees - mtc -  Learn more here.   marineco.in/ico

ICO scams are inevitable. These scams are existing because we let them but we can't tell if they are scamming or not unless the Bounty is finished. Find better Bounty Managers just like I did.

thats one way to make sure you receive the coins but there i very little stopping the ico from dissolving after that and leaving you with worthless tokens. so keep doing the research on the team (as well as everything else)

I think the easy to stop ICO scam is to apply small regulation to ICO. They should make that any project that wants to do ICO will through company registration in the residing country and pass some security checks, that way ICO will be free of scams.

This step could help. But scam always will be in business.
