Merit "trading" - buying and selling Bitcointalk merit

For what so ever reason merit is not supposed to be sold or bought online. The original function of merit is to be given as a reward or appreciation for a good and intriguing and quality post. 

It is not only impossible but it is crime as well because when you don’t work but you expect reward by an unfair mean this is just no sense so we should avoid selling our merit. System should take action or they should block those people who try to take the advantage of other peoples effort, so everyone should work fairly and earn good money

Surely everyone works here and they get reward for it, some people are lazy and they don’t use their own mind, if we will work we will get good merit with quality of post, if we will get slowly it will be useful, but those who want to get higher rank in hurry will suffer lose at the end, so better work by yourself otherwise it is not acceptable in market.

The merits is a good thing but I don't know the strategies put in place to control abuse. Has you have rightly said, people are trading merits for money and it does not augur well to those who are given much time in contributing to any possible questions that has been raised by novice and expert.

This is really good when I see our moderators and watching the system being more safe for users, this forum is for everyone who want to earn money but we will have use fair way in this regard and not to use any illegal way to get higher merit for huge earning, I prefer using only my own knowledge to make good quality post so I have never been in bad book of moderator.

Not all do have the same mindset of yours when it comes to money making.Some of them would do sort of things neither legal or illegal ones as long
they can took advantage of it,it doesnt really matter at all.Earning merit is hard for those people who cant contribute well into this forum thats why
they do end up on having that option neither farming merit or just simply buying ones.

I don't really care about merit and why would someone actually pay real money for some type of digital forum point.  It is like buying a high score on the video game which kinda defeats the whole purpose of what you were supposed to earn.

^ Maybe for us who have luckily achieved this rank while the merit system has not yet implemented. But one thing you are definitely right, there are some rarely earn merit but also a good poster, sound like bias but that is the fact. Well, we should be thankful now that the spammers are gone because of the merit system and the wave of banned recently due to plagiarisms that usually had been bought accounts from spammers.

Yes it is not good as it is like having unfair profit from other peoples hard work we should not do like this, if you have this bounty and signature campaigns we can give knowledge to other by making high quality posts, it will increase our rank and will get good merit so better make your own merit than buying or begging from other.

I understand it is very difficult to get merit, merit is needed to increase rank they need it for signature campaigns.
Buying merit may be prohibited but I see this done in several telegram groups.

I am using bitcoin as my source of earning since 2017 and I know it is best way to gain money you will not have to put so much just spend some time to gather knowledge and information about crypto and you will be able to create good post in the forum. It will increase your rank and will give you good merit as well which leads to good earning.

Comes from a guy who hasn't sent or received a single merit in the last 6 months like me (Edit: Getting merits for making quality posts)
You were just lucky to be a hero member when the merit system was introduced and making use of it earn from the forum. This is true for a lot of members here.

Mate member like you should work and make quality post in the forum because our merit is totally about our quality of post. This forum is the best place ever so don’t lose the opportunity and when you get in choose good topic to show your ability of writing. Making quality post is the most important thing buying merit is quite illegal.

I don't think buying merit is illegal. If its illegal, the posts created for selling and buying merits should have been deleted and the persons indulged in such activities should have been banned. However, that's not the case here. The merit abusers are just given a negative trust. Which means that it's not illegal but it's just not entertained.

Actually there is an easy way to get merit, you make a quality post and ask the moderator to review your post. buying and selling of merit is not allowed.
