Why can't Nano be used to replace IOTA. True IOTA is for IoT devices but can't Nano be used in place of IOTA? It's working while the Tangle is still broken.

It question like - Why Bitcoin Cash will not replace bitcoin or Why Ethereum Classic will not replace Ethereum etc. IOTA few times bigger tha n Nano and I don't see any reasons for opposite situation

Both are doing a great job.

But in the end, I think IOTA has most chance to become the de facto standard for IoT.
The tangle is still broken? I don't know what you are talking about?

The fact that IOTA team audited Nano tech, and still found some vulnerabilities, and a company like Bosch choses to invest IOTA says it all.
IOTA team is thinking 2, 3 steps ahead with ternary and scalability.

In this comparison, I will certainly give my vote to the IOTA project, because I believe that this project will very seriously change people's lives and can probably synchronize people and the Internet more strongly.

I also agree with you too.
IOTA and Nano are both great, but IOTA has a better future that Nano, I think IOTA is one of the best altcoins to keep for a long-term investment.

What do you mean about replace IOTA? did you mean to replace IOTA with nano at number 11 of coinmarketcap? What're the differences between nano and iota? Both the same as used GAD system which considered as a potential non-blockchain based system. My thought that IOTA has the more demand than nano. I remember IOTA is the first DAG which already hypes by so many people because byteball is not popular as iota itself.

Nano is being promoted by Charles Lee who says he owns some:

Usually when Charles Lee gets involved a pump is imminent...

The projects are similar in that they are both  however with IOTA two recent ‘tip’ transactions are selected  and built upon, with transactions being more reliable the ‘deeper’ the transactions are from the tips. In contrast, with Nano each account has it’s own blockchain and the most recent block is selected and balances are adjusted using a Send and Receive block.

IOTA will be big in 2019/2020.. but that is a long way to go. However, IOTA is VERY strong in forming ecosystems/partnerships. This is something NANO is really lacking behind. On the other side, as you said, NANO has the perfectly working product. IOTA does not even have a working wallet (and I do not say this in a very negative way, more in a sad way.. I am waiting for a good IOTA wallet for months and thought it would be released in January...

Why can't Nano be used to replace IOTA. True IOTA is for IoT devices but can't Nano be used in place of IOTA? It's working while the Tangle is still broken.

The Architecture is different.

Nano's design is more suited as a form of currency that can rival even LiteCoin/Ripple in terms of transaction speed + offers free transaction fees.

So the direct "use-case" competition Nano impose isn't to IOTA, but to BTC/BCH/LTC/XRP, etc.

While IOTA is in direct competition with VeChain (which has a lot more success in terms of partnership and expanding their technology beyond the cryptocurrency).

Yes, it may not replace it, but if you are going after price speculation and profit, then HPB will be the right choice. Because IOTA is already pumped.
And as OP said, the Tangle is still broken, so IOTA is an empty token.

I think that no reason to competite. Nano and Iota are different and their goals are different also so why don't have both if them, if you are sure that these coins are good?

Both of these are buggy and untested on a large scale capacity. High potential for both, however.
Generally we could say that every coin is a little buggy. Dag has not been tested in large scale, you're right, but Dag is still very new system and we should give this new technology chance. I hope we will see working Dag system in a few years, because there is a huge potential not only for IoT.

Each currency is special and can not replace each other! in both of these currencies there is a high potential but they are quite different and they have different purpose!
