There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

I tried - but none of the sellers I asked had heard of bitcoin. I don't think there is any car dealer who is selling cars for bitcoin in my country (I'm in scandinavia). Neither private sellers. It's just way ahead of times I guess, hopefully we'll start seeing it within the next few years. For now... it doesn't hurt to ask.
