Since you mentioned altcoin I'll go for Digibyte (DGB) all the way in! Great community and organically growing coin! It has 5 algorithms to mine on.

I invest to good 2-3 ico 7-8k dollar, and rest of 2-3k dollar I can buy rlc or nebl. I think these days are bad for altcoins so I don't invest them for a while.

I would invest for iota. 10k or 1k it is not important for investing. I think it will be a huge company in 3-5 years. Don't think about iota as a coin i think it is a share.

ATLANT and UTRUST! they are both less than a dollar each and it is a good time to buy now as they are really down because of this month that all coins are falling. you can expect more than 20 times on the profit as they are good in the project and have a nice team working.
march will be the month for atlant as they will release their project and start the real state.
april for utrust, they will release their app and start it. another one for utrust will be this February as they will be list on HITBTC.

Bitcoin and Polymath. This gonna be a big project and the future of smart contracts and bitcoin also still in deep so probably gonna buy a portion of it. I won't invest that big money on a single coin, diversifying my holding is the best.
