OK - so I have to admit that I am a noob to blockchain; I am also a huge hypocrite as I am beginning to invest in altcoins in order to be able to quit my stupid job.

However, I am disquieted by this drive towards worshipping new forms of currency.  Not just in industrialised countries but by the fact that this initially anarchic drive to break the banking / credit world will just ultimately extend its reach to peoples of the world who can neither needed, or wanted to participate in our globalised economy, nor can they afford to lose - as they always will - in order to fill the coffers of well informed, tech -savvy econocrats around the world.

So my question is:  is blockchain humanities saviour?
