If you are a user of Nova Exchange, this concerns you:

http://novaexchange.com/news

Quote
Kindly note "Novaexchange" will have new owners and management effective April 2018, with major upgrades to the exchange to better handle scaling, stability and security.

For better management and security of customer funds we have decided to close down Novaexchange so that the users can withdraw all their funds with no participation/responsibility of action of the new management.

Preliminary plan:
2017-10-30 This information goes public, user registration closes, addcoin page closes, disabling deposits of ETC and ETH
2017-11-30 Deposits disabled for ALL coins, all users get level 3 verified account level
2017-12-15 ONE last deposit scan to take care of deposits made after 2017-11-30
2018-01-31 Email reminder to all registered users
2018-02-28 Trading engine stops, dice game stops, API stops
2018-03-31 Login stop, website replaced with information
2018-04-15 Support closes, all Novaexchange user data removed

Remaining user balances that has not been withdrawn before 2018-04-01 will be considered a donation and is not refundable.
Closed for new manager and owners with more feature can add to exchange in next year! This is best for all member but in short times, we have lost a good exchange!

so the only thing remaining the same is the novaexchange url.  Other  then that, it has a new manager, new features, new everything, so might as well be a new exchange.

I don't normally use Nova but have from time to time to get some of the more rarer coins, and also to purchase some extra DeepOnion.  I wonder what this will do to the BitConnect users.  Their stated source of income to pay out their large interest fees comes from bot trading... I assumed that was coming from Nova since that's the only external exchange Bitconnect trades on.  Be interesting to see what happens to that project.

Your the first guy to comment and no surprise you have a Deep Onion avatar and you're a noob.

Soon as i heard this i thought of the scam coin scheme Deep Onion.
Smells like scam coin end game shenanigans to me.

Better cash out your "free" "airdrop" coins ASAP huh ?  Cheesy

It says “will have new owners and management effective April 2018” means I guess they will be back anyway so it’s more of temporary thing and we just need to withdraw for the time being

Yet another exchange shutting down, there are 50+ exchanges at this point. It’s kinda saturated with the biggest exchanges having billions of $$$ worth of volume. A smaller exchange shutting down doesnt mean much

Next big exchange that will close I predicted is etherdelta. Site has a new unknown owner. Few weeks ago,  pretends their site was hacked.  Without any explanation new coin was launched without fixing bugs.

I am looking for someone who has account on Nova Exchange and is willing to sell it to me (with 0,1 - 0,25 BTC worth portfolio on it)

Or, if reputable member, I will advise on great arbitrage opportunity for a share of profit, PM me.

Valid for today only or until the opportunity last.

Change of ownership is the thing that's going to happen. This change won't affect users and current orders and listing in any way. But the new owner/s can make gradual change in the future. Hope it'll be better for users.

Yes, Nova Exchange are staying in business. They've found a new partner, a new main shareholder. The new owners have the resources and experience to keep it running.

They are back and operating again but unfortunately, their decision on closing it for temporary led to losing all of their users. There are so many exchanges that came out with better UI and nova did not even bother to step up on that aspect.

from what I heard, they were facing some problems. But now that they are back, I think they would have to win clients trust again. They actually have a strong credibility as a tier 2/3 exchange and they can win clients trust back over time

At least this way of leaving the market does not look like a fraud. So this is not the worst decision

NovaExchange have said that they will not be closing down as they have found a new main shareholder to keep the exchange running. This can be found on the news section of there website.

Short quote,

We are so happy to announce that we have found a partner, a new main shareholder, willing and more importantly, able to carry on running Nova Exchange. The new owners, we have made sure, have the resources and the experience (6+ years in the business) it takes to provide excellent service to you all.
