As owner of a gambling guide - Bitcoin Gambling 101, I am curious as to how the crazy December and then January price changes affected your gambling wins/ losses?

It really affects my life this past because of price decreasing of bitcoin. It really affects in gambling because l can't have a profit if l continue a loser.

What? I don't get it man. I mean that is obvious that you will not be having a profit if you will just let your balance, might be a crypto currency or fiat on an online gambling site or a casino.

Instead of gambling those money on the casino or maybe a gambling site, why not start investing in a good digital currency since we are starting to see the prices increasing slowly, it might surprise you.

The thing is, if you're gambling in fiat, you'll have a bigger capital if the price of btc is quite high. You'd be spending less btc balance then. So it in a way, it will have am effect in your mind if the value of btc considerably drops or soars.

What comes around goes around and the money that came easily will be lost sooner or later easier than it was earned .
Trading or any other investment may be much more of a slower process in term of gains , but will be a million times better than throwing your money over some stupid "speculations" and "this is my lucky day" ..

Yeah i'm not anymore because i know that it's in the past and i'am indeed proud of myself because i formed a kind of immunity to such tempting things that can drive you crazy and may engender very bad consequences . Things that can turn into addictions shouldn't be accessible for everyone because some young people could easily get influenced by and addicted to them and this could terminate their lives at a very young age ..
People should learn from others's experiences and make the difference between what may entertain them and what could turn their lives to hell .

As a poker player I have noticed that it is much easier for me, psychologically, to enter a tournament with a fixed USD entree fee when the price of Bitcoin is high. Yes, you pay the same price as before in USD, but the price in BTC is lower which means you can enter more tournaments with the same BTC balance. Also it's good to see that the $10 you won some time ago have turned into $15.

But the price crashing has its perks too. For example you can enter a free tournament and win $2.5 which looks insignificant in the time of winning, but it may turn $10 one day.

That should be the main purpose of every gambler but people come in casinos to play gambling just for making huge amounts of money in no times rather than to enjoy the game and for that they usually need to put large bets so that they can get instant huge money and when they lose the game, they have to face shame and regrets. I'm glad i know exactly how to handle gambling and had minimized from doing it already.So it doesn't matter if btc price is low or high,because as much as possible i learned to divert my time into other activities than spending my money and time into gambling which in the end i only turned out to be a loser.

We have to be very careful when bitcoin price kept decreased because we have to invest more money before when bitcoin price decreased. It is best to divert ourselves from this gambling instead of investing, i am not mostly addictive to gambling.

I think it’s better for everyone to forget his bad past because as you have told earlier that there is nothing to do with the past as it is gone and the thing here which is more important is your future, so better for you focus on your future rather than to waste your time in your past. It's indeed an impossible thing to do on your own and i'm very thankful for all the help that i got especially from my family that managed to keep me busy in my free time whether by doing stuff with me or just keeping me busy with some tasks , i remember that at my lowest periods they took shifts in order to keep me away from casinos ..
I didn't opt for going to psychiatric help because i was convinced that i was not "sick" and proving to myself that i can get over any thing even an "addiction" was the real challenge and i'm very happy that i met it .
My life has changed for the better ever since and progress isn't a slow process anymore , because due to my gambling habits it was a very slow process because all my focus was on gambling and not on real life projects .

at least it still effects to me and I don't think that every gamble has much money. imagine if bitcoin price now at $9300 and we have 0.01 btc and it's equal with, for example, $93 and when bitcoin price increase at $10,000 that 0.01 btc will equal with $100, so we can reduce the amount of bitcoin, for example, we can use 0.007 btc-0.009 btc and we can keep the rest. or this will bring some fresh air for a gambler to use 0.01 btc but they have a bigger amount of fiat. so when bitcoin price is reduced at $8,700 and I think for using 0.01 btc, we need to spend only $87. usually, we use $100 to buy bitcoin, but if the price increase we can get more bitcoin.

While other are facing a problem with their investment how can you be very crazy, of course, you are winning through but many people are facing a lot of problems with the previous price corrections. As for me, I completely turn away my back from gambling online because of the price of the bitcoin. The price is in dump so it will require more bitcoin to spend and I can't afford losing bitcoin this way. I think that it had affected me in good way because I am now doing other things instead of playing online like reading books, going out and etc., which are also better than playing gambling. When I am playing, I sometimes lose track of time but since I am prohibiting myself to play, I am able to earn proper food at proper time now.

Based from what I am seeing in my casino investments, it would seem that the gamblers has lowered their gambling amounts likely due to price increase of bitcoins. Yes, I agree with you we all have different preferences even in terms of gambling ,I am really enjoying using fiat money and I am more prefered with actual which there is a direct betting with my co opponents and no need to make any online transactions. This month is another worst for me. Lol. I'm in the negatives now. 3 trips in a landbased casino with no luck. What I liked about the December-January jump in BTC prices is that if you had $20 on your balance in November it became $60. I took part in poker tournaments with $3 entree fee, which I never did before because I can afford to pay $1 max for an entree, but since it was the same amount of BTC I decided I can afford it. What I didn't like is that if I won $15 in those days it became $5 later.
