Some month ago we were allowed to withdraw crypto currencies of a value of 2000$ a day, if we are not registered with a proof or residence and we did not deposit a passport, ID.
Is this still the same? Can we still withdraw crypto currencies of a value of 2000$ a day in this case?
(I am afraid of the following fictive scenario:
I deposit cryptos in the value of 2000$ on Poloniex. I trade. I have now cryptos of 3000$. I try to withdraw 2000$. Now, Poloniex is freezing my 3000$ and says: "You can withdraw it as soon you give us your ID.)
Thank you.
They would act against their own rules and notification.
https://m.poloniex.com/press-releases/2017.12.27-Notice-to-legacy-account-holders/"Withdrawals will remain enabled at the daily withdrawal limits prior to the deadline."So you should have time to withdraw. Poloniex is not acting like Bittrex did and providing a fair procedure.
Its quiet odd that poloniex did able to hold that account and do ask to have a KYC procedure even op did tried to withdraw to its maximum withdrawal for non-verified accounts. If they are asking such documentation then they are really acting against their TOS which isn't right at all. I do have non-verified account on polo but I'm not being asked to have that verification. So this is just on random?
The latest press release about legacy accounts is just a pre-notice of about what to happen in the coming days (
read it) and in fact there's still no exact date up until now.
And just to clear things, Only accounts which are created before polo changed some of their policies are entitled of $2000 withdrawal limit per day. Now If you'll create an account on polo today, you will not be able to trade unless you verify your account.
