I still not sold on Russia regulating or even legalizing bitcoin. If you will just observed how totally contradictory their words are, no don't need to be a rocket scientist to deduce that they are just using crypto to hug the limelight and get attentions, but they will never be friendly crypto countries because of the following reasons:

(1) they always tells opposite side of the spectrum, you will hear that they love crypto, but next day they will issue another statement contracting it.

(2) we all know how Putin loves to maintain his power and will not allow anything that he can't control.

(3) they already have their government crypto coins in CryptoRubble, I don't think they will allow decentralizes crypto against their own. They would rather have their people invest on their coins, which have a tax of 20%-30% if I'm not mistaken.

It is a really great news to hear that Russian central bank just legalized all crypto currencies but the market is still going down just because some banks stopped credit card users from purchasing crypto currency and the market is bleeding for some time and hope it will be like this until we have some good news like these.

According your link the news is that Russia is considering a proposal to allow mining, but to impose taxes on it.
No mention of the legalization of all cryptocurrencies and the confirmation of the adoption of such a bill, all the more!

There is a difference between attracting Bitcoin miners to use their excess power and allowing them to use it as a currency. We

know Putin had some talks with Vitalik {Ethereum}, so it is not a hostile relationship with Crypto currencies. What we want to

know is if his talks with Vitalik was to use Ethereum and if they would still be friendly towards Bitcoin, when a partnership is

In the present time lots of problems like negative news and views are running in online word about bitcoin that is giving negative impact to the market of the cryptocurrency .
But here the news about the Russia about to make the all cryptourrency legal and also tax free mining , since in reality tax depends upon the final saving by the person per month/year according to rule of taxation .

This is a good news. I wish other countries will do this as well. Every government should realize the benefits crypto can give to their nation and people. I do not think Russia will first announce the legalization of bitcoin. And when most countries are restricting encrypted currency transactions, Russia will certainly not be the first to declare that the country recognizes the legitimacy of bitcoin， even Russia accepts bits but not 100% accept bitcoins that can not be taxed.

In Russia there is still no clear and specific bill on cryptocurrencies. They say that mining will be taxed. And Sberbank (Bank of Russia) only plans to conduct trading operations with the crypto currency through its "daughter" in Switzerland - Sberbank Switzerlang AG.
