So it sat around the 7~8k mark i feel we are about to do the next leg down to the 5K mark.

then a flash crash 3K then we should wobble around for about 2~3 years until next time.

see you all in 2021 for the next cycle.

I look forward to 3 things all those who did not hodl, and all the people now saying its dead just to see it go to 100K then 1M.

Thought this would be another panic-bitch thread but it's a realistic prediction.
I'm hoping for stability and the return to a gentle climb.

$1M @ 2021 sounds good Smiley

I feel around the 100K will be the next mark, 1M will be the cycle after that.

Though this has to be tempered by the dilution effect of alts, so its across the whole market cap.

I'd say 5.5-5.6k is the next target.
But have a look outside of the crypto world and see that the whole stock market was hyperinflated in the last 2 years or so.
Now it might be correction time, and in such times cash is king.
If this trend starts then all markets will go down, and crypto more than others, because a lot of coins are only a hype without a real base.
Also don't forget who are the people investing in crypto market. A lot of them are completely ignorants about everything that crypto means,
and, in general, about what a financial market means. That means panic. And panic is bad for any market.
So, I wouldn't be very surprised in btc will go bellow 5k in the near future.

I agree that $5k is looking very likely now, and I wouldn't be too surprised if it did touch $3k or thereabouts (ever since the retracement from $5k to $3k in September I've been bothered by the fact that it never retested $3k).

However, I don't think we're going to get a period of price stability for a significant length of time.  We did after the last crash in 2014/2015 because I think most people wrote off bitcoin as finally being dead.  A lot of people lost interest after the boom in 2013.  But I see two big differences with this cycle.  First, bitcoin/cryptos are a lot closer to going mainstream than they were then.  Today, there's a lot more interest, and it's much broader, including some from institutions.  Second, this drop is much much faster (so far, at least) than the last one.  It took over a year for bitcoin's price to crater after hitting a high of around $1100.  That was much more of a slow, grinding decline that you just couldn't stop.  Price has jumped off a cliff over the last month.  It could take a little while to get back up to $20k, but when this thing finally does bounce, I think it's going to bounce really hard.

Let's first see if the market actually tanks below $7000 in the coming days. At the end of the day, I am actually quite impressed with how the market managed to maintain its position above the $10,000 mark.

People have had enough time to secure profits just to be sure they have enough capital aside for when the price goes down, which it did as everyone can see. It's just a matter of logical thinking.

It is just a few weeks ago where people were complaining about the market being stuck around $14,000 to $15,000 and now we're here. I rather be stuck between $14,000 to $15,000 than were we stand right now.

Eat it get rich quick noobs.

Edit ~ it did fall below $7000 even today!
