According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in
Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it
will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Cara,
I keep asking for this but: Can we please get an update to Case Number 235 / Order 991? We're coming up on three weeks without a resolution to our order (our order was the one where Blockchain somehow didn't send almost 2 BTC even though we had it available in the wallet address; this was rectified a while ago).
I'm told our place in the Q is secure, but it'd be nice to finally see our order as part of the official order chain. Thanks,DZ

Any estimates on how deep the backorder queue is if one was still considering placing an order and hoping for a batch 1 delivery timeframe?

I don't suggest you to order now because of the missing mining protection and more generally, they have no reason to ship to you in time. Batch 1 customers are quite protected, imo.

My anger against what is wrong in the Bitcoin community is productive: Bitcointa.lk - Replace "Bitcointalk.org" with "Bitcointa.lk" in this url to see how this page looks like on a proper forum (Announcement Thread)Hashfast.org - Wiki for screwed customers

Hi Zombei, I will hit you up privately. I discovered why 991 is not yet in the order chain. -John
