I'm wondering if those projects who aren't dead are still under development. I recall that VR was quite popular at the time, and I'm curious if the project and those platforms are still operational, as VR isn't in the best of shape right now. I mean, the current crypto meta isn't all about VR right now, and crypto porn isn't really a thing, so if you want something spectacular, make it in real life rather than going VR.

AFAIK there is Verge Coin that is used in pornhub. This one seems to be more popular after it's been published on many crypto sites that pornhub is accepting this token. The porn industry however is very wide,  I don't think one coin will ever unite them but they don't need one other than BTC. Its sure merchants or users will prefer BTC over any other coin out there that they don't know. Every coin was created with the intention of using it for the porn industry will just die like the previous ones.

No, I don't find any VR projects that are still under development, these are very difficult and always fail in the middle of the road, maybe because of lack of interest or more expensive costs, so many of these projects stop in the middle of the road.
Same thing with porn do they provide coins to buy better porn movies? or other purposes and still lack of interest, I see more porn available on many sites without having to associate with crypto.
In essence, you still have to follow trends if you want a project to be successful because with that we can see how the site is today.

In my country where I live now it is also not legal to have free sex and not allowed to set up sex companies in the country, so it can be concluded that the project about sex will not progress and survive in the long term, because the concept is only to satisfy lust.

There are many companies that can create an ecosystem for the porn industry, such as pornhub. Projects that appear on the crypto market are trying to invent a new pornhub, the same people who want to invent a new YouTube or a new Twitter or any other social network or video hosting.

In industries like SEX/PORN middlemen are the one who always take the bigger piece of the cake while the actual performers just get few bucks. Blockchain has the potential to eliminate the middlemen and connect directly the performer with end customer. A win-win situation for both customer and for performer. know there are a lot of altcoins appeared since 2017 and up to now all of them didn't stand here in this industry of crypto space for long actually real talk only. Meaning, it didn't work.

Cryptocurrencies aren't a perfect solution to this problem, but that could change over time. As new technology becomes available and cryptocurrency adoption becomes more widespread, the industry could see a major overhaul of how sex workers and other independent contractors accept it receive payment.

Crypto porn No one would want to join this artist by doing so crypto may face more obstacles no one wants to control it. Everyone wants to find a well organized site to invest in crypto I think contractors will lose a lot if the demand for investment through crypto porn decreases.

The most basic thing for me is not interested in such projects. And even I wish porn project not to run on crypto blockchain. Such projects are increasingly turning crypto into negative things. Apart from that, many porn projects are dead, and no investor really wants to enjoy the power of blockchain on the porn line. There are so many porn projects being promoted recently, but very few people will be participating in them. That is, still in the promotion stage, there are already many people who reject porn projects running on the crypto blockchain.

in the country where I live pornography or any kind of sexual content is strongly criticized by the government because almost the majority of the population in my country is predominantly Muslim. and regarding the collaboration between blockchain and porn it might attract big investors, but the problem is that I don't see porn/sex concept projects succeed in the cryptoqurrency industry.

Basically there was one project that still active developing Adult Things and that was Exolover, Even though it's really slow but they are still actively updating the community, It was taboo but an big market and basically the cost was expensive as you said.

i know this is an old thread but what makes this interisting is that theres already porn coins before because we thought they are new ?
lately i have seen dogeporn , cummies and other porn terms combine with a coin word to make a coin name .
 some of them has an interesting use and it wouldnt be so bad if we retain some of them or theres already one or two and im only not updated ?

I personally will never get involved in any coin, tokens or project that's porn related, God almighty condemned this act when he commanded us to stay away from sexual immorality, Satan through pornography have destroyed, terminated alot of great destinies and I personally opinion that such acts as this shouldnt be encouraged in our society, I've once been addicted to porn and I must say it was like hell for me when I tried to get out, it was only by God mercy, grace and help was I able to quit watching porn and masturbation.

We all shouldn't encourage crypto projects that are promoting pornography for whatever reason, be it for money or anything, there are several other good projects with good moral backing that we all can make good money from, not by promoting porn which is a sin unto God.

Porn industries should just implement crypto payments instead of creating their own coins because it's not going to be successful, not even popular porn sites like pornhub can do this right, crypto payment on porn videos doesn't make lot of sense to me and there is no benefits in this immorality, I would date invest a penny on such projects ever

If you don't like it, then you stay away from it. Just because you don't like something, you don't have the authority to claim that others should also follow your thought process. There may be exploitation of women in pornography. But such exploitation exists everywhere. And the alternatives for pornography are much worse. In countries where the porn industry is most organized (Japan, Taiwan.etc), the rates of prostitution and sexual abuse are very low. On the other hand, the rates are highest in countries where porn is banned (such as India and Egypt).
