Hi, Guys

Hope you guys can help me.

I want to move my bitcoin (pre Bitcoin cash fork) from paper wallet to coinbase. I understand that i have to transfer them to some sort of hot wallet in order to transfer them to an exchange. I also know there is two methods, either sweeping or importing. My understanding is that sweeping is more secure, but more expensive as this is a transaction to a new address.

My ultimate goal is to transfer not only bitcoin, but bitcoin cash, bitcoin gold, and bitcoin diamond (if supported) over to an exchange which i can use to sell these. What would be the best approach to achieve that?

I am leaning over to utilize blockchain, as blockchain supports both bitcoin and bitcoin cash, but the major question is whether blockchain supports only Import or does it support sweep aswell? And once you sweep (for example to electrum), does it mean that all the other forked coins also have been moved to the new adress? Or do they still reside on the old paper wallet adress? I would appreciate if someone could provide me with some information on how to proceed.

Thanks in advance.

Coinbase support says that you have to import your paper wallet to some other wallet first.
