Bitcoin is definitely having a downtime as of the moment but this doesn't mean that bitcoin is over. It is somewhat normal for a currency to experience some downtime and though this is quite way too low, but i do believe bitcoin will soon rise same as last year.
Bitcoin is not over. It is too impossible. It was just having a downtime or dropping of price but it doesn't mean that bitcoin is over. It is not gonna happen because bitcoin is the most popular crypto that people usually using. Bitcoin really can help many people, so it will never happen. If the price of bitcoin right now drops, then must wait to its normal price back.

I just think investors are playing it safe while there is no concrete good news for Bitcoin yet nor a confirmation of a trend reversal. If in case price breaks and stays above $10k, things might become interesting again.

yeah, exactly. In the past few years in january/february bitcoin always lost in value.
We will see a new ATH in summer and an even bigger ATH at the end of 2018. We should use this time to maximize our portfolios.

Bitcoin price is getting down just like ski slop!
Is bitcoin over? do you think bitcoin will recover their price?
I'm afraid, I lost my everything almost 2million....
I consider that bitcoin falls only because the countries like China or Korea & others are trying to withdraw the cryptocurrency from circulation.
Looking at the popularity of the bitcoin, this is not a suitable statement that bitcoin era is over. Even if we just have a look at our social media, more and more people are becoming aware of this new revolution and number of people interested in bitcoin are increasing day by day. Governments are looking into the matter to legalize the bitcoin, companies are accepting bitcoin, all these points go in the favor of bitcoin, and the statement which says that it is over is just something not possible at least not now.

Hi,

STOP PANICKING!

Everythnig is ok. Yes, prices go down and yes, it has been quite a while. BUT, there is nothing to worry about for the moment. Bitcoin has always gone through ups and downs and I am quite persuaded that price will recover and by the end of the year, reach new all-time peaks.

If you rely on this investment for your everyday life, or any real-life investment, I can understand that such situation is worrying. But bitcoin should not be used as a short-time trading tool. It is an investment over the long term!

I couldn't agree more, it seems those short to medium term investors are the moment affected and are whining every minute on the forum but if your prior motive was to keep bitcoin for the long term then i guess nothing has changed and you will rather cease this opportunity to buy more now and add up to your already existing chunk so that you can sell for profit in the future.
Agree with you that price of bitcoin will be more than this but it will happen in future, I know price will be high, as it has bright future for all of us, right now bitcoin has low price but it does not mean we will not invest or it is over, it will rise again but it needs patience and time to invest in bitcoin, now I know most of people have bought bitcoin at 8k or 6k but it is still good because in future bitcoin is going to become very famous.

The fact that you are asking people "Is Bitcoin over?" clearly indicates that you don't understand Bitcoin and are in it most likely for a quick buck.

So, you would have already made some profit with Bitcoin. You can sell your coins Smiley

I think that too much bitcoin could affect the current bitcoin price, how would we respond to something like this?

It will back again in what it lose. You will gain again of what you lose. Don't lose your btc on your sight. Just encourage yourself and be strong to hold your coin. I do believe it will increase again. As they said this was happened before and it will increase soon.

Bitcoin's collapse is temporary, and it will not go extinct. In the past month, the price of bitcoin has dropped from $20,000 to $8,000 now, and we have lost a lot of money. We'll lose a lot of money at this time. Now that bitcoin has stopped falling, we should be patient with bitcoin and wait for it to return to normal, and I'm sure it will return to normal in the next few months.

I think not. Bitcoin will never be over because I think that it is the future of monetary system. Bitcoin has a lot of potential and it is only starting. I cant wait in the day where we can use bitcoin to buy in grocery store and ETC much easily.

Bitcoin cannot be use in the grocery store to buy some items using this coin because we have a problem which is the fee and also a slow confirmation that i think is a big deal because instead of paying a lower price based on the fiat then you will end up paying more value because you are using bitcoin which requires additional thing to pay and that is the fee to execute your payment.
