Hi to all,

I have been taking a look at orderbooks, especialy at bitfinex, and it shows an overwhelming majority of buy orders, against sell orders. How the hell is the price being manipulated downwards??? Come someone please explain this?

thank-you

I don't think people only buy ans sell bitcoin in bitfinex there are lots of exchanges are available so people may use other exchanges for selling their coins. But many people are selling their coins due to panic and now price is decreased below$ 6000 but still hoping that price will recover.

at first when we were not on a downtrend (above $10k price) nobody was expecting a drop and it was full on manipulation. price kept crawling upwards but large amounts of bitcoin was being dumped on the market and kept pushing it down.

when the downtrend officially started, everyone changed their strategies because it was obviously a downtrend so it got bigger and will continue getting bigger until we reach a satisfying bottom where the accumulation begins. it is no longer much of a manipulation but the market wanting to go down as everyone is on board!

In your opinion where do you think the bottom could be before there is a reversal??

thanks...

We are seeing a real crisis in the crypto market. The value is severely damaged every single day. There are too many sell orders put out, they fear and panic ... when does this stop and the recovery process occurs? All are waiting for the adjustments, the most positive change possible.

that is the problem though, you can't predict it with bitcoin. there are a lot of speculations out there. some say it will be $6000 some say $5000 and some others say $3000 and some were saying it is $8000 which is now gone.

all i know is that currently we are nearly 70% below ATH and technically the dumps should not be as severe as before the farther we get from it.

I think it's about some investors are already abandoning bitcoins. Due to the scaling problem that causes not much of a profit to them or even convenience due to traffic and high fees.
Dragging the market down and making everyone panic sell.

I think that it's a good time to buy. I thought everyone is waiting for this to happen. Not unless they changed their mind because of the unresolved situations.

I don't know but to those who believe in bitcoins, some time soon, cheaper bitcoins will be eaten up.  Not fast as before though.
