I told you so - many times in here. It was a bubble, and you should get the hell out of BTC.

The responses in here were mainly hysteric screaming of "FUD".

It is now clear from more and more posts in here that people who came late to the bubble-party are in losses on their Bitcoins. Well, told you so.

This is not the time to HODL. The party is over. Your choice is whether to sell now and take a loss, or wait until you have lost everything.

I think there is still a chance for recovery; I know there is a lot of panic going around. I still think there is a chance am basing this to the fact that such drop happened before and govs banning happened before as well. Let us see what happens here on.

Wrong. Now is the time to either hodl or buy more. Why would you sell at a low? We will be green again soon. Blockchain technology can't be "uninvented".

"Buy when there's blood in the streets, even if the blood is your own."

That is what people said when it dropped to 15000. Then they saw the dip to 12000 as a good buying opportunity as there was blood in the streets. Then people like you said to buy at 10000 because that was cheap. Then people like you in here said to buy at 8000 to be prepared for the upturn. Now you say the same at 6000.....

Go ahead - pursue your dream of the get-rich-quick scheme, what could possibly go wrong.......

I have listened to you when Bitcoin was down to $14000 and sold everything. I want to thank you a lot.

Now I will buy back Bitcoin when it has reached bottom, maybe $2000, so I will have 7 times more Bitcoin than before.

Very smart decision, I praise you a lot.

some people believe hold and buy back, some people believe that the hold is not the best option and selling will prevent you in losses.

differences of opinion and confidence always occur in a discussion forum. the most important thing for me is the future of bitcoin and other crypto, not just about price, but its technology in the future and its useful evenly in real life.

we can all see and feel what's happening right now, the choice is in our hands and you should not regret the choice you have taken.

It's a bit scary that bitcoin's price is really down, but it's not going to die. Now is not a good time to sell, the price is too low. You can keep waiting and it will pick up.

Well said. Addition to the future of crypto, id like to see blockchain applied everywhere.
Regarding the discussion on bubble vs not bubble, really there are evidences that support both claims. It's logical to think either. But for me the most important evidence is its use. Right now its not yet widely accepted. There are only a few people using it. So really we're just at the beginning. IF it's a bubble, it's nowhere near bursting IF it's NOT a bubble then there's nothing to worry about.

How are you so confident that bitcoin is going to crash? I don't think there is any need for you to make such bold statements, bitcoin always has its up and down and I guess newcomers are not late to the party there is always some room left to make money from btc.I would advice all my crypto lover friends not to panic and don't sell your bitcoin.

Another idiot spading moronic advice. Let me teach you a bit about crypto noob.

YOU DO NOT LOSE, UNTIL YOU SELL. If you buy high and sell low, it s a quite bad tactics. So telling people to do exactly that is a very bad advice.

when it was down from $19k to $16k, "don't worry it's just some people trying to profit off from the $20k gain, it will rise again!"

when it was down from $16k to $14k, "nah don't worry, it's normal. just a market correction for the massive gain in recent months, we should buy more!! bitcoin will hit $30k soon!!!"

when it was down from $14k to $12k, "not to worry man, this drop is 'predicted', starting of the year and people are cashing some monies out. if you have yet to join the bandwagon now its the time!!"

when it was down from $12k to $8k, "this price drop is normal, just some minor bad news from china korea india, soon we will shoot to the moon! time to buy more now! dont regret. holdddddd!!!"

from $8k to now $5.9k, "have you seen over the years how bitcoin rise and fall? this is cryto-currency rise and fall is very normal. soon we will rise and hit $100k!! price is cheap now, pour more money in!!!"

lol.. good luck to you guys man.

the only reason why over the years bitcoin will rise after falling was due to the lack of regulation/ interference from government 'previously'. with all the current bans and restrictions, fat hope.

will bitcoin once again rally back to $20k? fat hope. that rise was unfortunately a 1 time event. Crypto-currency was previously unknown to many in this world, with the news coverage and adv, people started jumping in to the then $20k. Sadly many were burned with a huge deficit. Would they dare to invest again?

if you manage to get your bitcoin a decade back at a buck or few hundred dollars, good for you.

if not better to cut your losses now. even as a forex or contra stocks trader, we know this 1 golden rule. if something start making losses, sell now. we don't hold to hope it rises again.

oh freightjoe is back at full force!
welcome back mate, i was missing your topics about BTC apocalypse!
There are 2 ways of considering crypto world: the technology behind and the revolution is causing in the real world and the money you can make with it.
If you are just an investor blindly buying and selling (and panic selling) this is not the world for you, did you gain money? good for you, have you lost something? too bad, you should have studied a bit more before investing to lose.

There is so much similar posts going around, I have chosen this one for my 2 cents about the matter by pure chance.

My opinion is that most of us (especially newbies) in crypto world needed to have a little reality check. Bitcoin @20000 was unrealistic. If you did any research or listened to any reputable youtuber you would have heard the advice not to buy at all time heights. The market moves in cycles and we were due to correction. Granted most of didn't expect bitcoin to fall under 10000$. But there seems to be ongoing media FUD campaign which brings the price lower. My personal opinion is that some institutions wants to bring bitcoin down enough for bulk buying. It is just ridiculous how much fake news are going around at the moment.

I for one don't mind the situation. I see this as opportunity to add a little to my BTC position. With BTC touching 20k I was starting to think I will never have another opportunity. I understand that current situation is very tough for somebody who needs money NOW but I am in this for long haul and current setback is not something I am not losing much sleep over.

I am sure blockchain technology is here to stay. Maybe bitcoin will lose its dominance in the future but that is topic for some other time. And lastly, this is not financial advise, do your own research. I am for sure not competent enough to tell you what to do with your money Smiley

Bro, you just spread panic. Did you see how far Crypto went up? Did you think it was going to go like this forever? It had to correct itself, this is the big correction.

this post does not make any sense.
Your statement does not contain documents and evidence that could certify your theory.

Know that I am willing to accept the defeat of a hypothetical bitcoin at 0 rather than accept a humiliating loss now. I will never sell, in fact, I'm continuing to buy and buy at the expense of idiots like you.

Here we believe in Bitcoin at every moment of his life. adopted as our son, he is still a child, but when he is 14 years old he will start to express his full potential. Here we believed in the potential of bitcoins for 200 deaths, do you think that the cryptocommunity is not able to face yet another death? We will enter the guiness of records for how many times we have died and resurrected.

I think that it will recover soon, the only things that I need to do is to hold my bitcoin, yes I know that Bitcoin price drops down, but the things that we must need to remember is we must support the Bitcoin and be positive always that it will increase again. We must be patient.

I have the opposite view.
I think that although bitcoin has a certain amount of bubble, but what we need to do now is only to continue to hold, I believe that bitcoin will continue to rise to a new height in the future.
