This is the one of the things that I will never understand. How people always fall for the same fud and how they believe every drama and panic news they hear and read. Don't you have your own brain to think rationaly and to check first the source and the content of information before you make some wrong information based on it.

The current "crash" is caused by one bad "news" after another.   A lot of them are the false or twisted truth.

For example, today, once again "China Full ban crypto".   What the...    Why is it causing another crash??  Why is it even "news"?

It was already banned in China back in September 2017.   All trading platforms suspended trading in September.   Anyone from China who still trade Crypto must be using foreign platforms.   Sure, they reported that China added all crypto exchange sites to Great FireWall.   So what?  These people have VPNs!   When I was in China, everyone who visits foreign sites use VPNs.   Yes, China banned VPN as well a long time ago.   So what?  Everyone is still using it.   Just like ignoring the traffic light is illegal in China, but at every intersection, you will see people ignore the red lights... the truth!   Just because it is "illegal", does not mean no one will do it.

So just this (one) news of China banned Crypto, it was repeatedly used to crash the Crypto market (4 or 5 times).   Do not fall for it!
1.  Summer 2017, China banned ICO.
2.  September 2017, China banned crypto trading.
3.  November or December?  China became unfriendly to crypto mining (Large-scale miners moved oversea already)
4.  January 2018.  China banned websites of foreign crypto exchanges. (VPN!!!)
5.  Today, "China Full Ban Crypto"...  (Really?)

So what is next?
"China really ban crypto"?
"China really full ban crypto"?
"China really really full ban crypto"Huh
"China will jail anyone who trades crypto"Huh
"China will execute anyone who trades crypto"?
"China will nuke every country who trade crypto"Huh??

Stop spreading this nonsense.    What's done was already done in September 2017.   Nothing has changed ever since.  NOTHING really changed in the last 4~5 months.

Yellow journalism at its best.

Same goes for Korean and Indian news.   South Korea did not really ban crypto.  Just one guy wanted to ban it.  It was not approved, nor implemented.   So far they have only added regulations that people can no longer trade anonymously.   So what?   Didn't Coinbase, Kraken, Bittrex etc. US-based platforms all require our IDs and photos?

India also did not ban crypto.  Just a minister made some unfriendly speech toward crypto.  No real "ban" whatsoever.

From the look of it, someone or some groups are trying hard to make the prices go down.   The sad thing is, people are falling for it.   The same China "news" was used on 5 occasions to cause the market crash while nothing was really changed or happened.   Korean news was used on at least 2 occasions.

The bottom line is, let's just ignore all the stupid "news".   Use our brains.   Not hearsay from yellow journalism.   It is getting annoying to have every little "news" to impact the market price.

Ofcoures we should stop listening a fake news or false news about bitcoin, just don't mind About what other said in a social media, like in the internet, be aware of what you are hearing from the other, because it might have a side effects to your job, especially bitcoin. So that You must be aware to the fAke or fAlse news.

Totally agree. You can not prohibit something that can not be controlled. Bitcoind here the whole world, people of many countries and nationalities, China banned? nonsense, and those who listen and believe in such nonsense probably for some reason of their own. And do not need to repeat this information thereby spreading it to the masses. It is necessary to believe and study. I think like that Smiley

It's the crypto game. It's a very volatile market where true or false information circulates very quickly with sometimes colossal and immediate impact. It's normal that some people try to take advantage of it by throwing falses informations... You have to deal with it and learn to sort out the real from the fake.

I'm also not believing this kind of rubbish fake news. They just want to spread negative impression about bitcoin. They are basically jealous because bitcoin is the king of crypto currencies. We need to support bitcoin & need to collect proper informations before taking any decision.

For people with long-term investment in BTC, they may not listen to fake news, but short-term investors should pay more attention to the news, because the news may bring down the short-term price of BTC.

You're right, we should not believe in false news but how do we know which news is false. People on internet easily believe in news. There should be a policy of posting some source links. I myself sell my coins after hearing news that bitcoin will crash or a hard fork may appeared this month or this week. This should stop or at least post some source in order to believe.

Yup, I totally agree with you. I used to read news online, however I always check the sources where the news came from, what are the basis of the news, I always research about it if it's false or not. Because nowadays people who are in the media industry manipulates the market through fake news, and these new investors are afraid of losing their money so they sell if there's a bitcoin price down news.

It is very unfortunate for now that the social media can be used by anyone for all purposes he or she deems necessary.
Even publishing faulty news about anything.
In this case, you may be right that these stories may have been fabricated for their own benefit.

This fake news propogate by some people who want to crush Bitcoin just to buy it in smaller price.
I think just ignore the false news, because it just wants to make us panic and they are looking for ways to make false news in any way .. and should judge the news and should respond wisely and seek info for the truth ..

I don't doubt that the Chinese government is looking for solutions to eliminate bitcoin.

Is really a big problem now, investors will panic, more specifically, through to the false news and to sell their shares and eventually lead to the price of the coin is affected, the company's new arrivals much more nervous.

Sometimes fake new is a kind of strategy where people can get money through it. Fake news are so fast to spread. The more people will talk about it, the more moneys are coming to their wallet. Its a kind of advertisement though.

Fake news is affected bitcoin, so people should stop listen to that news. Sometimes we cannot avoid to that kinds of news. But we should ignore that, i don't believe what they saying some negative about bitcoin. Therefore i trust more and give more time to focus on my investment in btc. The best things we can do is don't listen and think what is better.

Fake news is very detrimental to bitcoin prices and certainly to the investors who hold it, but this situation is favorable for the capitalist who expect bitcoin prices to fall, so that capitalist can buy in large quantities for the purpose of hoarding.
