Yes it will be more difficult in the years and time to come but you have to understand that people will drop in and out of it as it does so and the difficulty will adjust accordingly.  Also, there will be advancements in hardware and code that will allow for more efficient mining.

It seems to be the value of our dollar just decreasing... Hyper inflation is on its way....

I think that's a good point, will Moore's law enable computing power to outpace energy costs?
Energy cost is going up scary style, but GPU's are just better and better too.
Ideally you live in a desert and power your rig by solar...
