Hi guys, I want to share a little good news for the cryptoworld. In a little city of a poor little country (do you remember the Floating Piers installation of Christo, the artist) in January there has been the first speedboat sell in bitcoin (5 BTC, not nuts). For me, it's a very good news; if also in a financially backward country like mine this things happens..............it make me more optimistic for the future of the crypto.

Individual payments in crypto doesn't mean much on a global scale. You will always find someone willing to take crypto. Even for something big as a boat. What governments are doing is much more important than what a single individual is doing. What is your country? Weren't the floating piers in Greece?

Do not underestimate these little pieces of individual Bitcoin use, small or big, they leave behind a mark and set a precedent. Remember pizza day? If some guy never bought 2 pizzas for 10,000 Bitcoins, several times, maybe it would have taken longer for people to attach value to Bitcoin. It is still remembered today as the first real transaction involving Bitcoin. Maybe one day people will remember that boat purchase in the small country when everyone is using it. What goverments are doing is one aspect, but Bitcoin survives and thrived before any government knew about it, not because of policy but because individuals used it.

Any transaction whatsoever in crypto is going to raise awareness, big corporations aren't going to start accepting payments until there's a demand for it and that starts from the bottom up. The guy who bought that boat will tell his friends as will the guy who sold it and that's just more and more word of mouth and free advertising.

It only takes a spark to get a fire going. Seemingly insignificant use cases, adoption, and acceptance because they appear small, have had and and continue to have profound ripple effects, proving to be rather significant and substantial in time.

Specially the small countries with very small economy will always restrict the use of bitcoin or other crypto because they can't allow money from flowing out of the country. So they are slowly tightening their rule against crypto and many have already banned the use and trade of bitcoin.

Of course, it is impossible to make an official purchase for BTC in many countries. But with a boat this is a good trend. Sooner or later, crypto will come for everyone.

Let me cheer you up. that is good to hear. In my opinion we crypto people need to do that kinda stuff on daily basis. let's say I want to buy your car and you will ask me to pay that in BTC. That kind of new culture will boost the crypto world to much higher level. We have to remember, crypto's value is in the perception of its users. if we don't use crypto, then crypto will worth $0. The value stored n crypto is equal to the agreements among users as how much it worth.

This is not that much big adaption for crypto community but some people will happy about it. I see some days before Ferrari announces that they gonna accept the bitcoin and ethereum payment. I hope this news would make people happier than the op post. Since last one month we are seeing many drops in every crypto currencies but now it is time to recover. Along with that people will comes to invest on crypto and blockchain technology. I hope next bitcoin peak will be at 25k USD in this year.

A purchase of 5btc wouldn't do anything to be honest. Not in the big market, maybe for locally but I doubt.

This is very good news. More and more people are transacting in Bitcoin and other currencies. I haven't done anything in the real world yet but I have bought stuff on Newegg and other places for BTC. I keep looking for opportunities where I live though.

Every that we buy with crypto is one step closer to bring crypto to the world. At first with small steps, later giant ones to take over the world .

Personally, I think this is very good news as more and more people are starting to hear about Bitcoin, even in such a small country like yours. It's like people who bought a pizza with Bitcoin a few years ago. 5BTC may seem small now but when it reaches 50000usd then that's a lot.

Dude, I suppose a lot of people buy/sell things with crypto, but very few of them make this information public. Many countries still have no determined position about transaction via crypto between citizens. If I'd buy smth for crypto I'd keep silence for sure

As the days pass and we use Bitcoin more as a currency rather than hoarding it, or storing it that is going to bode well for the coin. In my opinion, that is what will give the most value not the storing or hodling of it but rather utilizing p2p cash like intended.
