The Dow Just Lost Even More Than Bitcoin. But Don't Call it a Stock Market Crash

This is what we are up against with the mainstream media.
They love to give Bitcoin and Crypto a good kicking at every opportunity.
Lets see if they apply the same Armageddon news flashes to this news as they do to Crypto especially if the Dow falls further.

While Bitcoin, which fell as much as 23% on Monday,
shed nearly $18 billion in market value during the day,
the stock market fared even worse: The Dow stocks alone lost more than $300 billion.

The article you quoted from also said this, " Market crashes are generally defined by an abrupt and rapid decline of 20% or

more: The 1929 Black Tuesday crash, 1987’s Black Monday, the dot-com bust in 2000, and the ’08 financial crisis all had that

in common. "

It is also not entirely true that the media is biased against Bitcoin, because they are not used to commodities dropping value

like Bitcoin does. {Bitcoin is famous for wild volatility} .... I hate the media, but I think they covered the story correctly from

a uneducated perspective.  Wink

Everything is down, falling. Obviously, that will have repercussions in the cryptos. It was the biggest drop in 6 years, Asia and Europe also plummeted. There is a lot of volatility. This week will be very difficult as there is a lot of uncertainty. My crowd is for investors to find refuge in Crypto since with higher wages this could mean more people willing to invest.

You probably should cut the mainstream media some slack, they basically feed on mainly popular news, sometimes it can seem biased depending on the side which one is viewing it, Bitcoin and cryptocurrency is the new hot cake in terms of investment and currently more popular, so I believe it is not out of place if they choose what people prefer to talk a out the most.
