Hey guys I was just wondering anyone's experience with RX580's and getting incorrect shares with Claymore's dual miner? I'm only having this issue with my AMD rigs. My one GTX1070, 10 GPU rig overclocked fairly high has zero incorrect shares

I have 2, XFX RX580 4GB and 2 MSI RX580 8GB rigs. H110 Pro BTC/3930/4GB RAM/2400w Server PSU + 650w EVGA Platinum PSU/on SMOS.

The XFX 580's 4GB GTS I've Modded the BIOs using Anorak's powersave bios, but seems every GPU is throwing incorrect shares at least 1, same with the MSI RX580 i've modded using another BIOs I found. This is at stock or OC clocks, XFX 580 1100/1800mhz clocks/ MSI 580 1125/2000mhz clocks. It's currently very cold so heat isn't an issue I have them in My garage and they sit 65C(holding temp).

Right now I'm chalking it up to bad BIOs mod timings, but considering how bad the XFX 580's are doing using Anoraks powersave bio's I would of assume these have been vetted over and over, but still get incorrect shares at bare minimum overclocks.

Now they all run stable and will run for days with stock or decent overclocks just quite a few incorrect shares. From what I've read you wanna keep incorrect shares to zero. What's your guys experience?

I would flash everything back to stock and test first; then continue to flash one at a time and test again until you complete all 4. This way helps narrow down the problem. My $0.02.

True, and basically what I was going to do is put 2 on a rig, one modded, one stock and see what happens.

Basic rules for a good mod is, Backup your original bios, keep it in a safe place and use it for modification. You do a wrong thing, if you are using downloaded bios from somewhere. Flashing your GPUs with different bios version caused your system unstable and may break your cards. If you need help from someone, give him your original bios, it safer.

Well I'm about stumped. I took one XFX 580 that was giving me incorrect shares and one MSI 580 threw them on a windows machine, clocked them to XFX 580 to 1125/2000 and MSI 580 to 1125/2100, opened HW info and let it run for 12-14 hours. Zero memory errors reported and Zero incorrect shares. Still getting incorrect shares on the rigs, test this weekend if the one I ran for testing is throwing incorrect shares, but most of the rig has al teast one. It really be a pain in the butt to test test them all Individually hard to say.

I've also switched off SMOS to HiveOS which has helped me greatly in finding errors or crashing GPUs. After using HiveOS I'm never using simple mining again.
