All this talk about bear market for years, you guys were saying the same thing when China initially banned ICOs/Exchanges back in 2017. Truth is no one don't knows what's gonna happen, so you're pulling numbers / dates from nowhere. All you say is just a pure speculation, no hard facts. A hard fact though is that cryptocurrencies are the future and the only way to stop them is to completely ban them in all leading countries. And even that would not change anything, because like supply & demand works in the market, the same way it would work with countries banning crypto. The more countries decide to fight cryptocurrencies, the more value a country will get if they decide to support it. And once that balance is shaked and one country starts getting too much value from it, others will have to reconsider their standing as well.

I agree with you but most of the people are not investing for the future, so short term price fluctuations really matter for most people, also lots of people risk more than they afford so they are worried.

that is very true. all those people who keep repeating about the bans and scare themselves into selling their bitcoins are the same people who never understood what bitcoin is. I am willing to bet that most of them don't even have a bitcoin wallet. they use services like Coinbase and exchanges to hold their bitcoins! that is one of the reasons they are too fast to press the big red button of panic sell whenever there is the smallest signs of a drop. and they always press that "button" too late!

Lol. That's why its easy for them to simply sell their btcs with the smallest fud they hear. Too bad for those people. It seems to me as well that many do believe that crypto is the future of transactions. The fact btc didn't touch the 5k mark means that a lot of us are firm in holding and seeing this through for the long term

One thing I am most certain of right now is that bitcoin is really one of the best investments one can ever think of as well as the future and for those who understand what the future holds; they will not even bother themselves with all the craziness going on in the space. Good point. But a lot of people dont know who to use their/our power to go against Governments greediness. I mean some Countries or Governments are banning the trading and exchanges because they dont have a hold of this or they cannot control cryptocurrencies. That's why you cant blame the others why they're paying a lot of attention about the Government's recognition of cryptos, because they are afraid that it may affect the market value, and yeah you are right that's a big mistake. In my case, I dont even care about Governments, they are just milking us.

If you believe in the long term of bitcoin, why bother getting killed by short term news? Don't even bother reading about most of these news articles because they're all the same. x government does this, bitcoin crashes. Or bitcoin is a fraud or a ponzi.

We've seen these situations many times and for the 10 years that bitcoin's in existence for, holding has always been the best strategy that you would have taken. You can never trade without emotions, otherwise.

Again, if you believe that crypto is going to be the future, then you should make up most of your portfolio with crypto and basically ignore all short term fluctuations, unless there is a really evident bubble going on.

Cryptocurrencies will be the future, no doubting that. Government is gradually accepting it and wihin 1-2 more years nearly all big countries will end up recognizing and legalizing cryptocurrency. But Bitcoin will not be alone to see the rise, as many new people only focuses on Bitcoin particularly, which I believe is a foolish move. May be Bitcoin will give profit in time but other alts will be huge. So roam around the market and diversify before its late.

In fact, long term holders should even panic less knowing that at the long run, they still always end up getting the best from their holdings anyway. Those who are early adopters or have been here for a while now already know better. The market is a volatile one, and we all know that and the same way we can have a huge bear rally is the same way we can have a huge bull rally, but the ups are usually more than the lows, which is one thing to always have in mind.
