Hi. This is one of my first posts.

Ive deposited for the 80some time at fj. After 7 confirmations i inquried about the status as it had not been credited to my account. I was directed to the message on the main page. The message said that deposits and withdrawals may be delayed due to Unscheduled technical maintinace. The message has since been removed.  Later in the day(yesterday) I was browsing google for any info on fj as I couldnt get any real answers from fj reps. If they repondes it was a one or two word responce.   I found a post from an FJ rep here on bitcointalk and what was strange is that he said that this was planned. The message on there website said it was unplanned.  Hmmm???

I was finally able to have a conversation with a rep.
(Im not sure how to add the screen shots as attachments but will if someone explains how)

I asked if deposits will ever be credited, he said when tech issues were resolved accounts would be credited.
I then asked about a timeline. He said he could not give an exact time.
I asked about why the warning was removed from the main page, and asked him if he thought that there should be a warning so others such as myself would not deposit and then have to wait for an undetermined period of time. FJ rep said the warning was removed for technical reasons. He also agreed that there should be a Warning.

I then stated that I did not feel as though FJ was acting on the up and up, but hoped they were. He responed "I hope so too"  he also said that he had 1000s of others asking the same questions and he has no answers to give.

Maybe its just me. But something seems fishy.
Wouldnt have thought much of it, but given the length of the maintenance window and the answers I recieved I think the crypto crash might have more to do with it then maintenace.

What do you think?

Actually im still confused on the statements you are trying to say on here.I would like to ask you few things.

How long have you waiting for the deposit to be credited on your account?

Once a representative give you feedback that they are resolving the issue, then the hing you can only do is wait. They are fixing things up and these kind of issues do really happen for some time but been fixed right away. There might be some delay but rest assured it will surely be credited on your account.

Been waiting almost 24 hours since Ive had over 6 confirmations.

I really hope that your right. Not like its a huge amount of coin. Ive just never had any kind of issues like this in the past.  As well as the answers i recieved from FJ were a little less than assuring.

Maybe it is just me, but i think its quite strange that they would remove a warning for tech issues when the issues are unresolved.   Maybe im reading into things too much?
Normally FJs customer service is 2nd to none. But since this issue, theyve either ignored me or given very short answers.

I'm a high stakes player on FJ, for a long-time.

I sent bitcoin there over 24 hours ago, it's still not showing up in my account.

My host has informed me they are running into technical issues with the wallets.

If anything changes, I'll let everyone know.

Undecided Hopefully they get this all sorted and make it right for you guys. Unscheduled maintenance can obviously happen, but sounds scary.

I've followed for fortune jack for quite a long. They are one of the pioneer of bitcoin gambling but their support always has been quite abusive.
Though they settled most of the issues and accusation, still I believe they are a bit persnickety and conceited.

I was affected by this as well. I made a small deposit yesterday morning (Monday) before seeing that oh-so-lovely message that they only put in the middle of their front page in fairly small text.

My deposit was finally credited around 2pm central today (Tuesday) - over 24 hours later.

This in no way spells "the end". Sites usually run into wallet problems every now and then, especially when syncing balances to database and in-game accounts. I do agree that the warning should have been more prominent, but I guess some of these things can't be pre-empted. You're probably one of the unlucky few to encounter it while the site was unaware. At least thanks to you, the warning seems to be updated again for other users.

Tip: patience and courteousness goes a long way to facilitate issues like this. You're at the mercy of the site support.

if it was the end then they will credit your depoist and let you gamble it , you may lose and if you win then they won't pay you
that's the typical scenario of scam gambling sites , but if your deposit was not credited then most likely they have wallet issues
waiting sucks when it comes to gambling but since you already deposited then all you can do is waiting for them to credit your balance

Things make op so serious accusing fj are looks fishy due how they mention in the site that the deposit/withdrawal maintenance are unplanned then he found it here fj official statement says it's planned . So I assume nigelgerface made deposit then the maintenance begin, wonder why they doing this? It's not scheduled maintenance like once a month , once a year or so but they work on different way to improve the service lately, let's be positive thinking now they might give you compensation if it's necessary and causing you in deep loss.

As I can see they focus on something refreshing, I think !
But I'm also experience the same as trust is hard to build and there is no way for FJ to waste it away because not crediting for 1 single customer.
Anyway, I'm almost not experience any problem when play here.

I currently have no coins deposits on fortune jack but I never had any problems with them so far, so I think it's a bit soon to start any gossips about possible scams. They are probably the biggest crypto casino out there, and with no real issues during all these years, so I guess you could given them some credit and just wait for a while. They are probably just solving some issues like they told you, and those things take time. 24h is not that much so just be patient and give them a couple of days.

The thread was started on Feb 7, which is Wednesday
I remember a friend of mine depositing successfully for the Mid-week maddness (which is on Wednesday).
So, as everyone said, seems you were one of the unlucky few that encountered technical difficulties..
Also, it's a lot easier to scam with KYC, just look at Bittrex  Cheesy

Looking for a signature campaign.

A bit over 24 hours isn't that bad, just a mild nuisance. People are so impatient in the digital age...

Regarding this topic, I would also they that Fortune Jack looks like one of the most reputable crypto casinos out there, so everything should be fine. These things happen from time to time, and it's perfectly normal. They seem to be running a legit business so I'm sure they already win plenty of money, and don't really have the need to scam customers. A trustable casino, with good reputation and a good player base, is a business almost for life in my opinion, so no point in risking that.

Also, it's a lot easier to scam with KYC, just look at Bittrex  Cheesy

What happened with Bittrex? Never heard of any problems with them as well, and they even seem to be evolving, as they announced they should allow trading with USD in their platform. Given all the noise regarding tether, I would say this is a really good step for them.
