Today one of the largest international marketplace Toptal.com announced a demand for Blockchain developers. Seems there is a shortage for blockchain (probably any kind) devs.

Details are not known, whether any of the blockchain language (solidity or other) is preferred or not. I think that will be disclosed after reviewing your experience.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!
