An idea that can improve the users's behaviors

It is unfortunate that many members use this forum to make money in the easiest ways who are shitposters and scammers...Also, there are some users who are manipulating the merit system.

Therefore, I have an idea that may help to reduce these problems, and it will be as the following:

The administrators will make a group of trusted members ( legendary ,VIP, Hero..)  and this group will be between 50 and 100 users and their mission is controlling  users, like this:

When someone makes a shitpost, he will be blacklisted and he will have a second chance to improve his posts  in 1 week  and If he succeeds in achieving that, he will be removed from the blacklist.
And if not , he will receive a negative trust.

For users who use this forum only to make money in the easiest ways,  they will receive an alert to stop these acts and else, they will receive a negative trust .

Members who have multiple accounts will receive a negative trust or get banned.

Members of this group will be paid weekly . And a manager ( Administrator)  will be in charge to pay them and to supervise their work.

There are already Default Trust member, which exactly does what you told here, they will flag and -neg account that has either shit posting history, or trying to do a scam
The only difference is that they don't get paid, although Most DT Members loved the community enough to not asking for any money.
The problem here is, there are hundreds of new account created here, while DT Members that actively fighting against shit accounts are only a few (Vod, Lauda, Actmyname to name a few)
Either the number of DT Members that fighting against spammers need to be more beefed up or we just pray there are few new members registered everyday.

There's also SMAS List who blacklisted shit posters on participating on Signature Campaigns. Theymos also recently added merits system in trying to gauge post quality up, and I can see it working as Meta section are filled with those who complained about Merit System

I don't agree with your idea, the purpose of creating the merit system is to encourage users of this forum to post better quality posts in order to have a chance of attaining merits from other users, so I believe in the long term, the users who continue to post low quality post would find it very hard to rank up their accounts, and therefore I don't think there is a need to form another group of members to check posts quality, because this will incur more unnecessary cost for the admins and I don't think the forum is generating much revenue too after deducting all the expenses to maintain this forum.

so... your solution is by creating a new position for yet another money making opportunity?
theymos already have staff, mods and global mods for moderating the boards
the problem is there are too many reports/posts need moderations that they can handle
and surely those high ranked members are here for discussion and not really looking for mod jobs (except maybe a few)

Campaign Managers are already doing these kind of things even before the implementation of the merit system, they have a list of users here in this forums who are blacklisted to their campaigns, you can see at the reputation thread. Also, the merit system has been developed by Theymos for such purpose of helping improved the post of the one's you are calling shit posters so that they can proved that they are deserving to be promoted in their rank up, think of merit as a key performance indicators and besides many people especially the higher ranks are busy here and you are asking them to do an extra job, they would be willing if you pay them.

This idea is dead at birth, but for OP:  Theymos would have to approve something like this, and he's not going to do it.  It's a miracle that he took notice of the shitposting problem recently and implemented the merit system.  That's going to have to be good enough for now, and I think it will be.  I got a great feeling about all of this, and it has to do with the deafening level of squealing by the shitposters about the merit system.  It's goddamn music to my ears.

This is already implemented in the form of SMAS list and works exactly in the same way you mentioned.

Do not know about the profit this forum makes but I guess there are already huge expenses involved like the server costs and staff. I do not think that it would be possible to pay 100 more members per month in the long run. There are members doing it for free and they are doing the job quite well.

Actmyname is no longer in DT group, there is even a discussion about this "event" here on the board.
The sign with "C" reminds more about "Cop" than "Controller". I am also agree that we have enough controlling structures and members, who do their work well for now, so for now there is no need in a special group of controllers.
Also I see that OP takes a place in a signature campaign and to me that means that he uses this forum for money making himselfs, and if he thinks that shitposters and spammers stay in a campaign for a long time, he is wrong. I noticed that campaigns simply remove bad quality posters within the first week, so it works pretty fast itself.

If you read the 'discussion' then you would realize that I am still in DT2, except that now there's one exclusion from a DT1 member against me. I'm only kicked out of the "depth 2 score" of mine reaches a negative number. So far, it's at 0.

Already working merit system is better solution for this problem, DT members are already watching the merit system manipulators and also giving negative trust where needed.
To pay the whole group of trusted members for this job will be an extra burden and it is not economically viable.

Pardon. It is really so. My bad, I didn't read the thread carefully. Actually I have nothing against you. Just saw that some guy is too happy that you are out of DT  and so on. I think there is no need to post the link on this thread here, cause of you apparently saw it your own.
Anyway, it would be interesting to hear your opinion about the OP suggestion, you are for a long time on the forum and know what is good or bad here.

I did, because he expressed a valid point without typing a paragraph of text.  For us veterans that have been here a while, and witnessed the "SCAMMER" tags know how much work it was to maintain.   It's a stupid idea and doesn't really require a reason why it is stupid.

The merit system should help curb shitposting now as doing so will get you nowhere very fast, but campaign managers should be policing their participants not anyone else as that's what they get paid to do. Now the merit system is in place the focus should be on campaign managers that do little to nothing as they're the ones causing the mess in the first place and nothing will change about spam coming from campaigns once people get enough merit to join them unless punishments start getting handed out for laziness.

Staff shouldn't have to deal with sig spam as that's not what they get paid to do. Campaign managers need to be doing this and if they're not then they need to go. People would soon start looking after their campaigns if accounts and threads started getting trashed.
