This might be your computer's antivirus removing parts of the wallet because it looks like "mining" software.
You might have better results if you mark the download as safe or check your antivirus and Windows Defender to be sure the wallet was not quarantined.

Allium is superior algo, only reason for a change back is for those with asics.

Well, there could be a case made for 7,000 KNC Titans (the only ASIC's that can do scrypt-N) coming back to garlicoin on an algo change back

to scrypt-N...something to be said about that many "ASIC Cheerleaders" pumping the volume and such of your coin......(they would be damn

motivated....would be pretty much the ONLY thing they could mine..if scrypt-N had stayed the default.....volume/in and out for paying electric etc

Garlicoin needs a 'hook' besides we are cute and a meme coin..just saying...

also, I don't believe there are any other coins that even use the current Garlicoin algo....so no action there either....

It is not working like this.

Make the 1st step accept that you did a mistake with the algo, change it back.
Make a proper crystal clear plan for the coin with timetables so the investors they know where they put their money.
Promote your good services ! 

These are common steps if not you obviously want something else with this coin,,,, let's say to eat some cash ....

This has been one of many favorite altcoins ever since it came alive in 2017. I was excited during its first days, because its dev and community were very active. However, now that's not the case, and the coin seems to be heading south over the past months. Am I missing something?

It's bad to see such a good project to become abandoned by its dev, with no innovation or improvements over the protocol whatsoever. The limited supply of Garlicoin should've had a positive effect over its price, but it doesn't seem like it. I've lost most of my money since I got in when each GRLC was worth $2, but now it’s just worth a few cents making many investors (like me) disappointed.

Nevertheless, my hopes are still high for this coin, and if there would ever be a community takeover, or a new dev would come up to make this coin shine, then it would be ideal. In the meantime, I guess that the best thing to do would be to buy and hodl GRLC to see what happens in the long term.
