Or use a mining pool. Solo at this diff is very tough, you probably get 1 in 2 hours, unless you have big hashrate. Using a pool is much better, at least you will constantly get something.

Hello all! I need your help getting on this Tiger-train (woot woot) So I have never really been able to figure out how to solo mine any coins, ever.... upsetting to say the least, but I know that it is most likely due to user error (me). This is my tigercoin.bat for CGMiner: cgminer.exe -o localhost:15661 -u abc -p 123 When I run it, CGMiner opens as usual and begins "mining" but I never actually see any rewards nor find a block... Can someone help me? What should Queue, Scantime, and Expiry be set at? Here is a screenshot of my cgminer window: (Not in the quote (I removed the window so it won't spam the thread)) I appreciate any help, fellas! Thanks! Tuck Get in a pool, with 300 MH/s You'll have to wait around 5 hours to find a block, In a pool you should get much more consistent payouts.

Syscoin has the best of Bitcoin and Ethereum in one place, it's merge mined with Bitcoin so it is plugged into Bitcoin's ecosystem and takes full advantage of it's POW while rewarding Bitcoin miners with Syscoin

I'm looking to sell a laser pointer, the kind of which are pretty bright very far reaching and fun (not the fancy green or blue high power kind) This is the item in DX http://dx.com/p/zj-03-2-in-1-5mw-650nm-red-laser-pointer-led-white-flashlight-keychain-silver-3-x-ag3-225024I had bought in bulk a long time ago so the product is really old... The batteries included can last for months of use... I'll open box and test the product (up to now they always work but if I'm to ship I have to test first, I'll place back to the box the way it was) My inventory is more than 1 but I really like to have some and I'm running out... 100 Tigercoins (only shipping in the US) Shipping from Tarpon Springs, Florida Shipping as soon as possible. Any buyers?

Looks like it's working fine, just haven't had any luck go your way yet.. stick with it Thank you guys, and KonstantinosM too. I have been mining on the CoinEX pool for awhile today, but I waned to attempt a solo job again... If I do get lucky and find a block, even if it takes 2 hours, the payout will be greater than if I had pool mined for those two hours, don't you guys think?? Thanks again

Thanks again I'm not an authority on the subject but from what I understand mining in a pool would only mean that you pay a small fee anywhere from no fee up to usually 2% (you can also choose to donate further for stats and other developments) Pool or no pool it's the same.... The only difference is variance, on a pool you get a steady payout, solo you get a very high variance (the lower percentage your hashing power as compared to the network, the higher the variance, eventually at a very slow hash/s rate it may take you days, weeks or even months to get a block and that is why people mining bitcoin moved towards pools.... Theoretically if your hashing power is low enough, you get more from mining in a pool..... Imagine having a miner that only did 1 kh/s hashing BTC, without a pool the miner would have to wait so many years to get a block that you might as well not get one, in a pool there would be no problem in getting a few satoshis for the effort!

You are lucky with this 1 share For all night I have just 1 block (it's was very strange block coz was 256 TGC), but after few sec go to orphan. But it's ok, coz not make me to wait for nothing! Like the biggest SCAM ever (XPM) for example. "account" : "", "address" : "tEN8qv5MtK2eA9aYD1CKph7pSCaymWzsq1", "category" : "orphan", "amount" : 256.00000000, "confirmations" : 0, "generated" : true, "txid" : "d63bde07c2af386e29864bd799460172d5945a7a5f2eacebf92c16343eaf986d", "time" : 1378663067, "timereceived" : 1378663093 It was just with 1.2GH/s (1xGPU+2xASICMINER). But I'm not 100% sure for erupters work or not... They show work, but I think not... Anyway, with same configuratin for same time I still can found any like 1000 ZET and it's much better! I hope it's to be alternative in future, but now I just have no more time for jokes...

you only have 1 accepted, mean 1 block, if you dont see it in your wallet, then it's orphan

u were too slow with submitting the solution. all miners are sending solutions and if 2 find the right solution at nearly the same time and send it, then theres a winner and a looser

You may want to read this: https://www.spendbitcoins.com/bitcoin-mining-guide/Although outdated, it is a useful guide.

u were too slow with submitting the solution. all miners are sending solutions and if 2 find the right solution at nearly the same time and send it, then theres a winner and a looser damn is it an upload bandwith problem? Cryptocurrencies generally don't use lots of bandwidth so most of the following is off topic (99% of todays internet connections can take the load while showing no signs that the clients are even running, (not a verified, but easily provable fact) Check your ping by opening a cmd prompt and pinging google and nodes on the tigercoin network. If the ping is anywhere in a normal range of 0ms-300 there will be no problem. To test your bandwidth just go to speedtest.net (Anything above 512 Kbps should be more than enough) To test your ping and internet service quality more thoroughly go to pingtest.net If you live in a weird part of the world you can also test to see if your ISP is shaping your traffic here: http://broadband.mpi-sws.org/transparency/bttest-mlab.phpLastly, Wireless connections are always less stable than wired connections.
