Hi,

I have an S7 and one of the hash boards is getting a few errors and shows a 0 for the temperature.  My questions is how do I tell which physical hashboard it is? Are they in any order? On the status the errors are under chain 3, but when I try switching the I/O cables to make sure it isn't a problem with the cables the errors will switch to a different chain but chain 3 still shows 0 for the temperature.  I've tried running each board individually with the others disconnected and they all work perfectly.  Any thoughts would help.

As far as which board is which it depends on the cables. When you swap the generally white 18pin cable essentialyl all you are doing is changing where the board is displayed on the status page.

If you're looking at the front of the miner where the ethernet pug is your board series is 1 to 3, right to left. So if the far right cable is plugged into the far right board it will display as chain 1, middle to middle is 2, left to left is 3. Again, If you swap the cables and cross them this will change only how the chains are displayed in your UI page.

So regardless of what board you plug the right cable in will display as chain 1, and works in series right to left. Lets say you only have two boards plugged in, your chains will be displayed in series still right to left still, furthest right starting as 1. Even if you are just using the middle and left cables. Only one cable regardless it will be displayed as chain 1.

I've only done some basic trouble shooting as a novice miner but I imagine the first questions a more experienced member will ask will be what psu are you using? Try powering two boards see if that is 100% and if its a 4.73th batch you should get about 1.5-1.6th at stock 700 frequency per board.

The S7 uses the TI TMP75 SO-8 ICs if you were thinking of changing it yourself.
