I prefer the ETH and would not buy Litetcoin at the moment. News about it is ambiguous. But if I had bought in the past, I would have made a portfolio of 20/80.

So as a back story, I am heavily invested into these two coins. Each one of them has their specific uses and I personally think that Etherium can do all the things that Litecoin can do, and then some. Litecoin's primary use is to transfer money from one place to another. You can do that with any cryptocurrency, and ETH offers that option as well, along with the same if not cheaper type of fees as LTC.
Now, they also offer smart contracts which will attract ICO's to use ETH. So with that being said, if you had to portion out 100% of your portfolio with either LTC or ETH, how would you populate it and why? I need some convincing on why I should stay invested in LTC.
Litecoin and ethereum, the best coin, below are the highlights of litecoin and ethereum:

What is LITECOIN?
Litecoin is a monthly form of monetary form of the internet that allows payment of time and is almost free to anyone in the world. Litecoin is a global, open source, distributed dispensing network that does not require any central administration. The network is secured by law courses and helps the person who controls the account is himself. Litecoin is Bitcoin's proven media intermediary, with extensive industry support, transaction volume and billing.
Ethereum (ETH), also known as Bitcoin 2.0, is a distributed chaining platform, running on a blockchain, through the use of the Smart Contract function. Virtual currency can execute etherex transactions, peer-to-peer network transactions via the Ether currency. ETH is also considered as a useful application platform, and self-created financial ecosystem dispersion for their own.

If bitcoin is gold then litecoin will be silver.
If bitcoin is blockchain 1.0 then ethereum will be blockchain 2.0.
So I would choose to increase as much litecoin and ethereum as possible.

And I like both LTC and the etherium. Why torture yourself with choice? Buy both LTC and the etherium. Both coins are very good and have good growth potential. So buy both. You will not regret.

I am holding both coins because i believe on both of them but if you need to choose one i think it is better to hold ethereum. I do not see litecoin passing ethereum if we are talking about price.

If you strictly want to conduct transactions, litecoin provides low and consistent transaction fees. But if you want the ability to create contracts, crowdsource, or streamline management functions, then testing ethereum is your best option.

I would prefer ethereum. Although I think litecoin is an old and promising coin, ethereum is a much better coin, in the terms of its price characteristics. I think it is a big probability that  the growing of ethereum will be much bigger than the growing of litecoin.
I will agree for you mate.I would say Litecoin was good but Ethereum much better on it in many ways.Because as of now we should true to ourself that it is the second list for the highest value crypto coin that demands for all ICO projects for the convertion of token to ethereum and last to bitcoin.

ETH is risky for now because of dump. I prefer LTC because LTC price for now is safe not like ETH and BTC but ETH have Token with High Prices and You can invest ETH on ICO or Crowndsale.

The value of each coin is different based on the network, so don’t let the quantity mislead you. Verify the exchange rate for the coins to get a sense of actual reward value for each of the cryptocurrencies

Litecoin are good for long-term investments and for currency transfers. Ethereum is more liquid and stable for investment, besides, most smart contracts are based on this crypto currency.

How can you compare LTC and ETH?
LTC does not have smart contracts but ETH has. LTC is little brother of BTC.

What are your purposes?
If "HODL" - buy both but better pay attention on other cryptocurrencies.
If "investing in ICOs" - ETH is your choose.

litecoin is a sleeping giant, whereas ETH has already grown. One day in the future litecoin will explode in price.
I do not know if I would call litecoin a sleeping giant taking into account it has grown a lot as well in the past months but I agree that litecoin has a greater potential to grow than Ethereum, I think Ethereum is the best coin out of the two but the market cap is so high that the chances it can outgrow litecoin in the long term are low, so I prefer to invest in litecoin.

Of course Ethereum is the best choice for long term investment. Because Ethereum is one of the top crypto currencies by market
cap and is traded worldwide. Several codenamed prototypes of the Ethereum platform were developed by the Foundation.
Litecoin is good but it is lazy to grow. So I think ETH is is better then Litecoin.

Ethereum is much more risky then litecoin. Litecoin is solid, ethereum might collapse if some unforseen event unfolds. But ethereum might outperform litecoin. I would buy 70% litecoin and 30% ethereum if I had to choose between those two.

I would say Litecoin over Ethereum because of many ethereum competitors nowadays (NEO, STRAT, ETC, WAVES e.t.c..), as for Litecoin it can be adopted world wide as payment method. I do believe that we can see 1000$ litecoin in 2018-2019, especially with such a brilliant founder of it - Charlie Lee.

Definitely. Ethereum is one of the most promising cryptocurrencies. Its value may dump, I am still confident that it will rise sooner or later. There's no doubt that this coin can be the most popular coin someday.

I suggest Eth for invest. Because Eth have a Good Future and It already take a place on the crypto market after Btc. But if you want to invest for Holding long you can invest some of your budget on Litcoin.I hope it will take an attention to the investors at the last of this year or at the first of the next year.

Litecoin does not need to surpass Ethereum in market cap the only thing it needs to do is to outperform it as an investment and taking into account the lower market cap of litecoin this is the most likely scenario but like anything is not a sure thing so it is a good idea to invest in both coins since both projects are some of the best we have right now.

Litecoin and ethereum is indeed have the same features, which has different uses in the market,Litecoin has much faster tx confirmation than bitcoin and ethereum which is why few people choose litecoin over bitcoin and ethereum because these two giants shares the same problems, network congestion.small blocksize and high transaction fees.
