I prefer investing in Ethereum will be quite profitable in future coming days. Most of the new coins now are being based on Ethereum blockchain. That will surely help Eth value to rise.

I think etherium got better future in long term because of all icos and smart contracts, but if litecoin will be used in regular daily life then it will boom too.

The founder of Litecoin sold all of his coins and finished his existance in the project. Can you see Etherium without Vitalik Buterin?

Everyday new Erhereum based project comes out. Token number increase day by day. And it didn't bring the problem Eth network yet! If this token won't slow down, they will go up 5x from now.

LTC going to announce Litepay in short time. It has to change LTC price. But it is fake that news about LTC fork. Charlee Lee have tweeted aboout it. He said there is no fork for LTC! Never will be. We wil keep work always with LTC team.

In my opinion, ETH has more chance to rise up. I think it will be 0.5BTC at the end of this year.

On the other side, one of the my favorite coin is NEO! It is also has potential like ETH. New tokens coming for NEO like ETH. I bought some all. But most of it ETH.

So as a back story, I am heavily invested into these two coins. Each one of them has their specific uses and I personally think that Etherium can do all the things that Litecoin can do, and then some. Litecoin's primary use is to transfer money from one place to another. You can do that with any cryptocurrency, and ETH offers that option as well, along with the same if not cheaper type of fees as LTC.
Now, they also offer smart contracts which will attract ICO's to use ETH. So with that being said, if you had to portion out 100% of your portfolio with either LTC or ETH, how would you populate it and why? I need some convincing on why I should stay invested in LTC.

Ethereum can do all the things that Litecoin can, is almost true, but remember that coins that do what they set out to do are what we should consider as successful. Yes Ether is also sent as currency but Ethereum was supposed to be the supercomputer platform that could run decentralized apps all at once. The fact that one game app broke the network means it could not do things the way it was supposed to do (yet). Litecoin, on the other hand, set out to be the cheap and fast way people could pay each other, and has so far done it - and no it has never been more expensive than Eth!

And Litecoin will continue, with or without its dev. Imagine if Buterin leaves.

actually, i do not read much about litecoin, how it works, its price, even news updates about it, i am only interested in ethereum and some altcoin other than bitcoin cash. but I believe the ethereum platform is better and simpler than litecoin
Actually Ethereum might be very useful among all altcoins considering that mostly coins are ERC20 base which generally referring into Ethereum. Do Litecoin have exemplary performance in the market which investors may look into that but isn't enough to compete against Ethereum as considering it could be next for bitcoin.

Vitalik has also cashed out a large part of his Ethereum stock. Earlier he used to reveal how much he has sold, but now there is no information regarding this. And it is not just Vitalik who has sold his coins. The other developers have also done the same.

I prefer etherum because every token I get from bounty campaign is always on the ETH exchange list. so it's easier for me to sell my tokens to ETH and then I can hold or go on sale.

Both are good coins and still if we buy and hold them for the long term they can give us good profits but ETH is more powerful according to me the technology of Eth is good and many new tokens which are coming using the blockchain of Eth and because of this the demand of ETH is increasing I am sure ETH will be very much valuable in the future.

I much prefer Etherium because I think it is a big probability that  the growing of ethereum will be much bigger than the growing of litecoin in the future.

For me it is ethereum because it's more valuable than litecoin and much improve in terms of technology (smart contract). Mostly ICO's goes to ethereum, so ethereum is more stable and reliable. Ethereum is the best of all altcoins suited for a long-term investment and has the potential to be always on the top of all altcoins next to bitcoin.

Well, I haven't seen any ETH ATM in my real life. I know there might be but RARE. But BTC/LTC ATMs? There're quite many & they are coming & spreading very fast. Sure if more ETH ATMs then the price of ETH could be doubled or tripled but it seems Vitalik doesn't care.

--> Sometimes adaptation is more important than technology.

Programming with BTC, well it's possible because when I donate to a tracker, it automatically raise my ratio instantly even no confirmations yet, it's doable because:
(1) It can easily create unique BTC address for each account on the tracker
(2) when you pay to the BTC address, with a reasonable fee, the tracker acknowledges then execute a programmable, complex script.

--> So I would say that ETH's integrated Smart Contract isn't really an advantage ETH has over BTC/LTC. Execution of Smart Contract on Ethereum platform is quite costly comparing to the use case I mentioned above.

ERC20 tokens of ETH is really a game changer for ICO because an ETH address can hold tokens.

LTC is a clone of BTC with a few improvements so it won't have high price. ETH introduced Smart Contract + Dapps so it is considered a strong crypto that is used to exchange to another Altcoins.

IMO hodl >90%++ ETH, ~10%-- LTC

Ethereum already today decides whether to scale the network. As far as I remember, Vitalik Buterin allocated a grant to find a solution to the problem with scalability of the network. So I think soon he will solve this issue and ethereum will become the leading project among the crypto currency

i think that investing in both litecoin and ethereum is a good choice, it's less risky than investing in only 1 coin.

Litecoin and ethereum are both alternative coins which is also popular in the crypto world. Ethereum is next to bitcoin's value, but it cannot be used for transactions unlike bitcoin and ripple. Litecoin has also a potential to increase its value but it will take a long time and process before it becomes the next value of ethereum. To be honest, I prefer Ethereum because it is trusted and most of the ICO prefer it especially in any bounty.
