I bought a certain coin thinking it'll keep going up just to wake up the next day to see It went down to half the price I bought it. Now due to bitcoin price crash, I lost 80% of my investment. No choice but to wait for another pump and I'll sell them all and get rid of it. That kind of coin is not worth keeping.

Don't worry, in the long term you will win if you bought good coins. Patience is the key factor here.
I bought Bitcoin near the top in 2013 pump. Then we saw 1200 USD to 180 USD price. We all know what happened last 3 months. Bitcoin reached to 20k. ıf you have good list of coins you will win eventually.

I know a few people that bought at ATH but that is nothing you should worry about. If you have some time to sit it out, just wait until we see another ATH again. We are just in a downtrend right now but I think we will go up soon.
Well, each of us here in crypto currency community experienced a downfall situation but I do believe it will back to normal value as we aimed high to have a great profit. As I research about ATH, wow it's a great value but.it dump for about 30% as of this time which for sure you are affected on that. In some reasons almost crypto currency fall but I believe someday no one can tell that it gonna boost its value for just short period of time. |

Do not worry, keep on holding I think the most altcoin will still break the ATH this year, so I think you should forget about your bags and focus on something else since patience is the key to success in crypto trading. Many friends of mine have also bought altcoins at ATH but they bought a better altcoin then yours, I think you should do more research on altcoin before buying.

I hate my life so much right now xD Who else bought on ATH?  Don't hate your life my friend. Make that experience as a lesson to your self that in crypto it is always ups and downs. That "all time high" you are talking about would not be the ATH six months laters, who knows that you can make profit out of it so you have the last laugh. Just hodl and do not sell of ouf fear because that would not benefit you in the end. |

I also bought on an ATH before, but the good thing is that i really don't need the money that i invested, that is why i have all the time to wait and hold for it to come back and do good again and at the end i still get big profit from holding. |

That's nice buying more btc at this current rate will still be okay. Also, many of us who bought at Ath but ended to hold btc. Until such time price would on top again. |

Trust me, you are not the only one, that is what made it an ATH!!! Now you have to HODL, and wait for the next ATH, which there will be. Just remember that any coin you buy should have a long term future. If you are buying for day trading, then the rule is always buy low and sell high, but for long term holds, you just have to wait for the price to pick back up.

That has never happened to me, thankfully! So I can feel your pain. Then again, minus December 2017 so far, if anyone bought Bitcoin at ATH they would be very happy. So the same when ETH and LTC made their ATHs. If you have half a belief in crypto, then you should just hold for the ones that you like (as in project), cut losses on the ones you don't and put the proceeds into a basket of some you think will have strength in 1 or 2 years. Then forget about trading and hold.

I think you just need to be patient and you should know that there are also a lot of people bought all time high like you. You just need to keep holding and wait until the huge dump over and the whole market rise back again. Maybe the price that you bought will become the lowest price all the time of the coin you bought. LOL.

I don't know why you pay premium for the coins but to be sincere nobody is sure where the top price is, but don't let that discourage you, those that bought BTC when the price was $1000 and later went to $200 would have be concerned the way you are now, I hope you didn't invest all your money into this, because there are alot of great buy in the market currently
Some high prices are making people stressful because they buy on ATH and then they wonder when the price will recover. This is the main reason why they're this much worried about the loss. |
