No need to worry. Do not panic. Prices will come back one day again. After waiting for a while the prices you bought will come back.
If you do not sell you will not hurt Wink

Yes, don't worry about your purchases because sometimes market may be down and in the present condition the only option we have is to hold the coin until they give profit to you. Even i am doing the same because i bought them at the high value.

Why did you buy the coin when it was on its all time high? Anyways it is either you will hold your coin for long term so in the long run it will reach back to the price you bought it in or if you still have the budget or money for trading, you can buy the same coin everytime you feel like it is dropping its price so in that way you are diversifying or dividing the value you bought it in and you would have lesser coins on loss.

You bought at all time high because you fomo i never buy coin when its going super high thats why i never feel what you feel. Remember buy only when other people fear and sell it when other people buy. You can read the peak when you see it history and when you got much experient in crypto market. Dont be sad...we will probably see another all time high in this year.

Don't be sad, mate. For sure everyone in this forum bought at least once very high. i bought stratis once for 340k satoshi and lynur for 350k satoshi. At first I wanted to sell and buy something else when the coins fell in price hard, but then I decided to keep it. If the project isnt scam, the price will recover for 99%, just be patient. It can take several months or even the year.

In order to choose the correct entry point to the crypto market you must learn the basics of trading. It is better for you to refrain from buying a coin which has already grown significantly because the coin will most likely fall soon. Pay attention to the coins that are in a red zone and have fallen heavily next time.
If he will invest in bitcoin or any of the top altcoins (like Ethereum, Litecoin, Neo, Waves, Ethereum classic, Monero and Ripple), it is not possible that he will face a loss until or unless, he loses patience and sells out his asset during dip. Choosing the right coins plays the most significant role in the success of an investor.

Nowadays, the number of scams have also increased so I prefer to stick with the old ones and advise the same to everyone else.

IF you are a short term investor, you are indeed a sad person. I don't expect many people to understand the grief of short term investor in time of bearish market. I saw posting about people borrowed money to buy BTC during ATH. Some people even cashed out life time saving to buy BTC at the same period. So sad...
On the other hand IF you are a long term investor, there is still hope. I think you can learn from that experience and use is as a tool for better investing strategy in the future. Experience is a good teacher Smiley

I hate my life so much right now xD

Who else bought on ATH?  Huh

Do not be too regrettable friends, crypto coins are full of risks, if ath down and down it has become a risk. Make it a lesson, stay optimistic and do not step back in the crypto fight for profit.

I have read that many persons bought at ATH mostly in the middle of december 2017. Now they regret because of investing in cryptocurrencies.
Patience is rewarded. Just hold until summer. I believe they will be thankful at the end of the year.

DOnt worry.. i felt the same a lot time ago.. buying at ATH and then.. crashhhh!
this is only for some time.. dont know how much.. 1 day, 1 week, 1 month... if you have enough patience you will earn money.. guaranteed!

PS: unless you buy shit/scamcoins..
The problem is that when you buy at an all time high you do not know for how long you are going to wait, those that bought when bitcoin first reached 1200 as an all time high need to wait for 2 years before getting back their money and it is safe to say that almost no one was able to do that after all at that point many people lost the faith that bitcoin will recover.

I guess every one of us have made the mistake at least once. No matter how obvious it is not to buy at ATH, at some point everyone seems to make the same mistake. Now on, no matter what the case is, I will never buy ATH. One great tip someone shared at some point was that there will always be other opportunities, so no need for FOMOing no matter how tempting the situation is.

Nothing feels as bad as buying at ATH. The worst thing for me was that it takes balls to increase the position during the dip, and once the price increesas back to that ATH, at least I tend to just sell the whole position and completely forget the whole thing ever happening instead of being rational and possibly waiting for the new ATH. Eventually, the whole token might become distusting to own no matter how the project is. I bought TRX at 350 (ATH), it dropped to 250 but I did not have balls to double my position, and once we got back to 350, I sold my whole position without hesitation. Next day I think we reached 2000 or 3000 satoshis. I bet I was not the only one.

Gotta agree. The lesson I've learned from FOMOing is that if I am dumb enough to buy near ATH or FOMOing, I make sure that the project is good one. I definitely do not want to end up holding some sh%tcoin bags and wishing for miracle. I am quite positive that PRL will reach eventually a new ATH, so at least I decided to forget my position and come back in a month or a year to see how things have developed. I also have a sell order near the ATH. This way I do not need to follow it daily and the pressure is off my back. One thing I have learned from this is that I prefer holding tokens that provide some sort of dividend, payout etc such as KCS, COSS, CEFS, BCO and NEO, so there is no need to care about the price at all - sooner or later it will reach the ATH or if it doesn't you can just hold these coins forever and enjoy the payouts.

Well......you could sell everything, hit a casino and put it all on red or black.  I got a good feeling about black or the number 14 (which is red).  Alternatively you could try and watch every episode of Coronation Street, until your coins inflate in price.  Either way, please don't go on a killing spree with an AK-47.   Good Luck!

Dont worry you are not alone. there are so many people that bought when it was above 15k usd. and there are some of them already sold them back around 6-7k usd. When you buy a cryptocurrency you should be able to forget your investment at least for 1 year otherwise you will loose so much money.

As already said, many should not succumb to panic  Cool, but rather look at the situation with a smile) We entered the crypt not for the sake of a minute profit, then money is made at a distance!

Don't worry you are not the only one, people tend to buy when the price is increasing, but you can get back your investment and make a profit but it will take some time, I believe if there are no new bad news coming, price will continue to increase, so keep holding those coins but if you are comfortable with your lost you can sell it anytime.

Sometime everyone will face the same situation in the market but even though you are buying them at high price. So always try to divide your investment because sooner it reach hight the value will drop, so you can buy even more at dips.

I do not think that . The market is high if you invest in, you will get a profit ? I personally find this time is the right time to invest in. When the market is lowering its investment rate, it will generate higher profits. That's what I need.
