I did the same thing before when I first started trading, did not even read or researched about trading that much and accidentally bought almost all of money on a certain coin when it was at its peak. Of course I hated myself at that time, and I was using Poloniex at that time too and so what I did was I researched on google on how to keep the coin and decided to leave it and go for long term instead of dwelling on a mistake I can not reverse back. So that's what you'll do OP, hold it for a couple of months or years until you get that amount back.

I think it's because you believe the cryptos you're investing in will continue to grow, but the truth is that it's down. When deciding to invest in anything you need to consult, study the cryptos before buying money because there are many free crypto signals on the Social that you can refer.

We can't say that his/her decision is wrong because he/she failed to gain profits. We know that crypto is unpredictable and the risk is always there. Risk of losing some value and assets. I guess it happend to most of us at some point. It's impossible for someone to make every decision right. We can only hope our calls will end up well in that kind of situations. What you should do right now is stop worrying about it. It happend and you can't change it so you learn a lesson from that and hold your coin. Don't sell it cheap because alt coins will start going up soon. I am sure your coin will hit new all time highes before too long.

To be honest, I didn't check these coins, so I don't know if that are good projects, but for sure you have to HODL to new ATH! You will need a lot of patience, because your funds can be frozen even few months, but it is the best solution in such situation.

All you can really do like the rest of us is to hold, no amount of whining can you seek help from us who also bought at the ATH. Good thing in my case I was able to trade my losses with other coins. Better evaluate as how can you get back your lost investment by investing through other coins.

Its really a sad moment for those who buy coins at ATH but as long as you are holding your coins and not going to sell it is not yet considered as a loss. It also happened to me before, it never came to my mind to sell it to cut my loss. So the best thing to do is just HODL and wait your coin value to recover

Holding it for so long might not be a good solution for that especially if it is continuously going down. It is better to sacrifice by selling it and buy other coins in cheap price. Anyway, just mostly happen especially if we are in still learning the market trend and always remember on these to prevent happening again.

I don't think this is strictly true. With conventional trading, maybe.

Because usually newbie will follow what is popular. when ATH happens a lot of people in this forum suggested to buy because many speculate that bitcoin prices will continue to rise. it is precisely that the price continues to decline due to correction. yeah you're right that you have to do some research first before buying. do not follow someone's speculation. now I think you can not do much with the current price is decreasing, all you can do is you hold the coins you bought at a high price until you can get a high price. so I think the hold is the best choice.
