Don't worry. Well you have two choices, which is to be very patient for the market to recover (it always does). Or you can cut your losses buy buying right now at the bottom of the market and guarantee a profit. This will make your losses at around 50% rather than 100%.

I have never bought ATH even I do not know ATH. Are the coins you buy really have good prospects? Because I highly doubt this. But you do not have to regret your actions, let this be a lesson for you in the future to be better. That is a mistake you make yourself and only a waste of time if you regret everything that has happened. You must calmly wait for the coins you hold up again.

You are not alone. You are not the only buyer of ATH. I bought a certain coin thinking it'll keep going up just to wake up the next day to see It went down to half the price I bought it. Now due to bitcoin price crash, I lost 80% of my investment. No choice but to wait for another pump and I'll sell them all and get rid of it. That kind of coin is not worth keeping.

If you bought at the peak bitcoin, then there is nothing to worry about. Bitcoin will cost 100,000 green pieces of paper in the next 2 years. The same can not be said for alcoins. Don't do panic sell. It will pass. There will be new ATHs coming up this year, so just hold and don't panic. The time will come when we will look back on the December/early Jan highs and think - I can't believe that coins used to be that cheap!

All that you have to do right now is to hold.
Don't bother with checking the price every few minutes, even days. Just relax and wait for better times.
There was a spike and big drop right after, it happened many times before so I think it is absolutely possible for it to happen once more.
Don't panic and take it as a lesson for the future. I'm sure there are plenty of people like you, that's why we see this huge "sale"  

I agree. At least, by doing that move, you mitigate any losses or avoid them altogether. I mean, even if a coin you just bought dumped in value, it does not follow that it would not rise back up again. Therefore, like the above-stated reply said, the best thing to do is to be patient and just hold on your coins until such time it recovers. Anyway it's an altcoin, and based on previous happenings, if it's a new one, it has more chances of actually prospering and gaining quicker.

Sometimes, lucky doesn't favor for us and that's the reality. But here in crypto world, even though we are losing now due to the market is dropping but our chance to get huge amount of profit has not yet ended. This is if we hold it in longer term because we know crypto will always grow as the years are passing by.

Few months ago, 4-5k dollar is highest price for all time, and then it rised to 20k dollar, 1 year later maybe it can see 100k dollar so if you dont sell your coins, you can earn money after bull season.
