I recently contacted Trader Steve (http://GoldStarBullion.com) to purchase a 2011 Silver American Eagle.  He didn't have one in stock but was able to order and ship it to me.  The coin arrived in perfect condition and I had no issues.  Just thought I'd share my experience dealing with Trader Steve.  I consider him a trusted seller and I will be purchasing from him again.

I for one think the trusted seller thread is a mess, and practically  useless.  I usually post under the original thread.  Then it bumps the thread to the top, and people reading the original thread see the positive comment there.  Starting a new thread just means your positive feedback will disappear after a few days.

The bitcoin-otc web-of-trust is pretty good, but it's a little complicated to setup.  A lot of forum users won't touch it with a 10 foot pole.

Trusted seller thread is easy, just go to it and type the username you want to check in the search bar.

there should be a sub forum for trade reputations. everyone makes their own post and gets reps from other people in it

FREE 100 GME if you post your Cryptsy TradeKey on the official GameCoinTalk forums

That would be a decent way to do it, but what if someone doesn't have a thread yet?

Yeah, I think that's a good idea, too.  They'd just create their own.

I just tried that with both "TraderSteve" and "Trader Steve".  I got zero results even though he does have some feedback in there.
