When I considerof who would want a privacy coin on the TOR or similar, I can´t help to think that by buying those coins I would be helping people launder money or do illegal stuff. Do you think the same?

Very likely so, anonymous coins have been in extensive use, far and wide across black markets and underworld trades. While deep web markets used accept Bitcoin as the major payment option, the likes of Monero, DeepOnion and other private coins have also seen a sharp increase over the last few years. As Bitcoin payments have been traceable by agencies with the right resources, it cannot be said the same in case of privacy coins which offer much more anonymity and remain untraceable for most of the part.

Not all the people who are buying privacy coins are doing illegal stuffs,i personally want my privacy secured,i dont want my transactions are being monitored by anyone, because if you are holding  alot of bitcoins your life might be in danger especially most of the people knows your identity that is why i prefer my privacy intact, just to be safe in these kind of people.

Yep, they are for illegitimate uses. They are also for privacy uses.
What people don't understand is that with creating privacy coins for good uses, they also help scammers skyrocket their results. The average Joe in the middle, who is neither of them is the victim.

I think you are referring to DeepOnion Coin. It's a coin that's blockchain is in the Tor network based. and I think yea if you're looking at the deeper side of the uses of "Privacy coins" well yes, they can actually do the same with Bitcoin since it is private no one know who you really are unless you've transact with a centralized/regulated wallet.

I recently read some stats that say that at least in the US not that many people use BTC for illegitimate uses, that is in fact less people than the ones that use fiat and paper.

Basically, they are using bitcoin to many any deposit and transaction to the exchange site. because i was thinking about they are all only interested to trade in the crypto rather than stock exchange.
Because the majority of illegitimate user try to use another way just like privacy coin.

Not necessarily. I value my privacy and if I want to hedge against government control of my own money why can't I put it into XMR? I understand that .onion use it for the reason of privacy however it doesn't just have to be about drugs. Diversify yourself. Read George Orwell 1984 Wink

If that's the way you think, Bitcoin's been the most used in the black markets.. That's not how you should think, privacy coins let you do private transactions, for whatever you need it, you will use it.
