More expensive (the extreme is free shipping) and the extreme has been in stock for 10 days. I just got the notify e-mail from newegg also.

Think about it logically -- WHY would they be in stock for the last 2 weeks if they were flying off the shelves for some reason?
If you could make a killing mining with them, or could turn around and resell them for a quick buck, they would have been sold out by now.

My guess is Newegg jacked it up because they had sold out almost instantly the last few times they came back in stock.
