Hi,

I created this post just so I, and others can learn about posting with quality.

Newbie here, I’ve read a lot of posts that are just casual and others are somehow formal.

So I’m thinking if there are certain standards from the experienced members here that we need to be aware of.

Many thanks!

Ask intelligent questions and don't be retarded.  That's about it.

Thanks a lot gotminer! Is it okay to be casual in posting? Just curious. Really wanted to avoid bad posting for other members to see.

I started this thread on the Meta board. Other members have added some good and valid points.

Hi All

A good headline sparks interest and invites readers in

80% of people will read your headlines.
But only 20% of those people will read the rest of your content!

And that is why the headline is as important as the article or post itself
