Hello all,

i would like to know what are the best GPU's with the best ROI for Ethereum mining.

i saw the RX 480 4G but i am a little scared about the 4G with the difficulty level of mining rising i am scared this GPU will not be good in the next months.

can you give me your expert advice please.

thank you all in advance.

right now the best GPU to mine with is the one you can buy for close to its MSRP.

4gb cards will be useful well into the future, the reality is you will eventually have to replace the card to keep up with efficiency/hash rates before the 4gb limit is ever reached.

Stop buying industrial miners, running them at home, and then complaining about the noise.

RX 580 is best for mining ETH. The 1070 is also good. But that is too expensive.

I have chosen as well fro AMD RX 580, 8 GB. They are easier to find and are cheaper than the NVIDIA ones (at least for me).  The RX570 is good as well, less hash but as well less power usage. So you need to see what is most important to you.

This. And if you are particularly lucky you will get cards with new micron memory which can be overclocked past 2300 MHz which will give you 33-34 Ms/s.

MSRP is the market price right ?

ok so RX580 8G is the best for fast ROI as you all suggest.

the problem is in my country the RX 580 8G is as expensive as the GTX 1070. around 400 / 500 euros. this is crazy.

i already have a rig of gtx 1070 wich i am not satistied by the ROI.

Its hard to find cheap AMD graphics card these days unlike last year that honestly you can buy rx 570 at $250 per card before and this is the most profitable card that i planning to buy last december but i decided to buy it after new year but the price is getting increases..
So if you really wanted to find a good and profitable gpu you must search for cheaper amd cards..
But i heard some other miners that the price of graphics card will cheap due to the crypto price drop. .
rx 470 rx 480 or rx 570 and 580 would be a good gpu for ethereum if you can buy it for low price..

That is right. The ETH mining is still quite profitable.

In term of ROI, I think RX580 should be the best.
Also if you have some P106-100, you could think about building 12-18 GPUs rig, this GPU could perform quite good on ETH, and its price is not that expensive.

RX 580 or 1080 8GB cards are good for ETH mining you will get the good hash rate and not face any issues in cards. But how many cards you will use to set up your rig is important. minimum 6 to 7 cards are needed to earn good profit in ETH mining.

For me if you can buy cheaper card rx 570, rx 580, gtx 1060 or gtx 1070 if you can buy them for cheaper and you can break the ROI below 6 months it would be more profitable than expensive cards..
For me there are still selling cheaper rx 570 or rx 580 so this both would be the best choice for ethereum mining..
For nvidia cards 1070 and 1070 ti would be the best choice for equihash mining any brand works for me and i think you can buy fair price for those cards..

Not good idea to buy p104-100 graphics card because you can't resell them to gamers unlike buying a gaming cards like gtx 1060 1070 or rx 570 and rx 580. the price of p104-100  still cheaper and getting more hashrate but you can't resell them to gamers..

You will see many people say that "the 1070 is good but too expensive".
That is true, but....

The 1070 I believe will retain value much longer than it's AMD counterparts, because it will continue to be valued by gamers and miners alike. It's just an amazing card for gaming AND mining, IF IT WERE AT RECOMMENDED PRICE. I managed to get my 4 of them before the demand got so ridiculous because Bitcoin got to $25k and suddenly every noob came out of the woodwork trying to find out about this source of free money.

Also there are parts of the world where there is a distinct advantage because they make these things AND they have cheap or even free electricity - looking at you China and Taiwan, so they are probably just grapping up the 1070s before they even reach markets in the "west".

Anyway... if you can get ANY 1070s at even a reasonable price (just not a ridiculous one) then buy them.

I used to mine ETH with AMD R9 290s. I gradually switched to Nvidia (4 x 1060 6gb, 4 x 1070, 2 x 1080 unfortunately) when I bought a 1070 to run an HTC Vive. I wasn't even going to mine with it, but I tried out of curiosity and realized that my 1070 was hashing better than an overclocked 290x but using less than half the watts and staying under 70 degrees celcius. The 1070 (at least when it wasn't price gouged) was a sweet spot of power and price. The great workhorse upper middle tier card.

Another thing it has in its favour is 8GB vram. Are there any 8GB AMD cards that aren't really pricey? In fact are there any AMD cards that don't use WAY too much wattage as well?

I just hope, for the sake of myself and other miners out there that the prices get better, coz the 1070 is my favourite mining card after mining for over 2 years.

When ETH mining goes away, due to POS or ridiculous difficulty or whatever - the 1070 can also kick butt at quite a few algos that are being used more and more just recently too. Just my 0.000001760 BTC worth.

Crypto currency enthusiast and miner since 2015. Mined approx 200 ETH during 2016 and 2017 and sold it at approximately $US40 each. Then I watched it reach $1000+ each. If anyone bothers to read this stuff pay attention to this: HODL HODL HODL HODL HODL HODL

I started mining with 1 AMD 7950 and 1 R9-280X. Then I gradually built my AMD operation into 12 R9-290s. Awesome ETH hash but ridiculous power consumption and heat. Over the last year I defected to the Nvidia team. I now use GTX 1070s. They were expensive to buy (probably a bargain now) but awesome hash rate vs. power consumption. blah blah blah blah

Cost wise these cards pretty high variant. We need a card good for mining as well as in cost perspective. Recently Zotac launched the P102- 100 cards. Which is comes in 5GB variant.
I am sure you will get around 54-56 MH per card on mining ethereum.
Except this there no card in the market you card get affordable on price and hashes wise too.

not also,
fast or not, it depends on from the price of ETH when converted to BTC. a good situation is when ETH and BTC rising price. and almost in all countries, price a GPU is rising because of many a demand.
