Google was asked to prohibit all ads for binary options, cryptocurrencies and initial coin offerings by Canadian and US law enforcement. As Facebook announced their banning of all advertisements concerning crypto trading last week, Google is expected to follow Facebook’s example.

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Another news from an unreliable source. I thought that Facebook had made it clear that they are only banning cryptocurrency ads that are related to financing. These are the type of news that should be laugh at because you will see in the news that the U.S. senate hearing relating to Bitcoin is good and is being given full support by the majority. Having news saying U.S. banning crypto ads show no sense at all, we should be careful what news we are sharing as it might start a lot of misunderstanding which may lead to panic selling.

I agree that some of the ads relating to "invest just 0.02 ETH and get 1000% in 7 days" type adverts should not be featuring on the likes of facebook as they can be misleading to new people, the obvious ones like this should be banned but I think crypto as a whole should be allowed access to these platforms, otherwise we should also see facebook banning all gambling and payday loan sites from advertising on their platform to.

I think this is necessary. Most projects that have the resources to spend on this type of marketing are bad and unreliable projects. In general, they are copies of other more robust projects. They copy up to several parts of the whitepaper, as Tron did.

We need projects that work, that offer a good product and only then start investing in marketing. Some seem only to be ponzi and scans and this is very detrimental to Bitcoin.

As i undesrtand that one of the cocnlusions from U.S. senate hearing was that they are not pro baning Bitcoin and block chain tech but they are concerned about unregulated ICO's and enforcing their prohibation on ICO s, thus it could make some sense that google could ban some ads in US .
